Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

This is a great recipe. I really wanted the real deal though. So, I did 1c. zucchini and 1c. crab. Also, had to improvise with what I had on hand. So, I left out the egg and added 3T of mayo instead (I'm PG and realized when I needed the egg that I had put the empty egg carton back in the fridge!). I also did not coat the cakes in flour as the consistency of the cakes we great just the way they were.

Beefy Chinese Dumplings

I cannot give this 5*s b/c I wasn't able to make it as is. I'm not able to eat cabbage so I made them with sweet potato as a substitute. I must say they are delicious! I steamed them for 10mins, but next time I'll bake them. B/c there were so many (aprox. 40-45 dumplings) I steamed enough for two and froze the rest to make later. My favorite kind of recipe!

Honey Curried Roasted Chicken and Vegetables

Made this Sunday for me & the hubby. If you're looking for a spin on the standard roasted chicken --make this one!! I did as others suggested by roasting the veggies first and then the chicken, adding the veggies after draining the chicken juices 10 minutes before the chicken was ready (at the same time adding the glaze). Had GREAT flavor. Thanks!

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

This is so good, that from the first night I used it I immediately added hand-made pizza to our weekly meal plan. The flavor is amazing! Definitely not your run-of-the-mill pizza sauce.

Zucchini Alfredo

This was wonderful! I've not liked any other creamy sauces that call for cream cheese as the main ingredient, but the zucchini and milk off-set the thick cream cheese flavor so well. I followed the directions as given, no need to alter, unless you wanted to kick it up a notch (i.e. grilled chicken breast).

Hot German Potato Salad III

This is extremely good! I've tried many potato salads and this one is by far the best! I will continue to use this as my go to recipe. I followed the directions to a T. My husband likes a cold potato salad so I served this as such -I would prefer the hot salad, but it is just as delicious cold. Plus, no mayo means it can sit out for awhile longer if using at a picnic. :) A recipe worth submitting, thanks!!!

Jalapeno Hummus

I made this for a work party and for friends and it was good. I wanted something more than just the jalapenos flavor the second time I made this, so I added 1/4 c of crushed pineapple. Even better!

Hash Brown Ham Quiche

This is fantastic! The hash brown crust is much easier than & and a good twist on the traditional pie crust. I will be throwing this one in the mix of easy dinners menus.

This was very good. It reminds me of a homemade Hamburger Helper. Took the same amount of time to cook and even better was the home grown ingredients I used instead of powder in a box!

Zucchini Corn Fritters

ZUCCHINI CRAB FRITTERS!!! My husband does not like corn so I try to appease us both, but with the abundance of zucchinii on hand I came across this recipe (and many others for zucchini & corn). I had some crab meat on hand that needed to be cooked in the next day so I tried this out. The combination is amazing! Thanks for the inspiration!

Oatmeal Apricot Crisps

I really like these cookies, however it is for the out-side-of-the-box flavor they have. Every bite I take seems as though it's missing something. I will experiment with the recipe and see how I can really give it that pop.

Zucchini-Coconut Cookie Bars

These have the most amazing flavors! I took half of this recipe to a family gathering and the were the conversation topic of the night. Many people asked for the recipe. Good thing we only took half the pan, now we still have more to enjoy at home! Thank you for this recipe, I followed contributors directions to a "T".
