Best Beef Dip Ever

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
Awesome! i did make some slight changes so the flavor might be slightly different than what was originally intended. i used what i had in my pantry. Instead of rosemary i used dried italian seasoning. i seasoned the roast lightly with black pepper, kosher salt(lightly because of the soy sauce) and garlic powder then seared it off in a dutch oven. added the water and soy sauce, bay leaves and minced garlic and simmered on med low for about 4 and a half hours. Then i added the shredded meat onto a buttered french sub roll with provolone cheese and put it under the broiler to melt the cheese. sprinkled a little italian seasoning on top the melted cheese and chowed down. the au jus put the sandwich over the top. i ate two and cant wait to eat the leftovers!

Elvis Sandwich

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
this is really good if you drizzle maple syrup over the peanut butter. or dip the sandwich in maple syrup while you eat it. Not a everyday thing to eat or you will end up like Elvis but its a great treat once in awhile.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
i think this recipe basically depends on your personal taste buds. the first time i made it i followed the recipe exactly and wasnt too impressed but my wife and daughter loved it. so i made it again but this time after i spread the honey/mustard mixture on the salmon i made a little extra honey/mustard with alot of honey and used it as a sauce that i drizzled over the salmon. my wife and daughter loved it even more and it got two thumbs up from me. the leftovers even passed the test the next day with my Marine buddies at work. Great recipe with the extra sauce.
