Bev's Mac and Cheese
This recipe is definitely quick and easy. I made the cheese sauce in a saucepan over the stove and it took a lot less time than the recipe called for with the microwave (less than 5 minutes). I agree with another reviewer that there is way too much cheese sauce for 1 cup of elbow pasta. I might add an extra 1/2 a cup or 3/4 cup pasta next time.

Chicken Fried Chicken
WOW, this recipe is AMAZING. I customised it a little based on other reviews and also what I had in my pantry. I didn't have potato flakes, so I did without it. I didn't have saltines, but I had cracked pepper flavoured water crackers, so I used those instead. I had a whole chicken (about 3.3 pounds) that I cut up into pieces, rubbed with 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon white pepper and 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper and left to season for a few hours. I took another reviewer's comment and breaded the chicken in this order = flour, egg, coating. Shallow fried the chicken pieces in a saucepan on 2-3 minutes each side to get a golden brown crust and then arranged them in a baking pan and left them baking in the oven at 185 degrees celsius for about 15 minutes. I'm not a big fan of deep frying hence I went the shallow fry + bake option. The results were AMAZING!

Too Much Chocolate Cake
I've used this recipe many times, all fail proof. Last night, I realised that I only had 2 eggs and didn't have any sour cream. I used 3/4 cup milk with 3/4 tablespoon of vinegar and 1/3 cup of butter (approx. 75 grams) to replace the sour cream (or you could use 3/4 butter milk and 1/3 cup of butter). I also only made do with two eggs, and the cake turned out superbly! It's not has dense as the original recipe, but the taste wasn't compromised!
