Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2007
Very very rich and different and very yummy. Be warned, mine was burning after 1 minute on each side, rather than the 2 minutes they estimated here, so be sure to check it periodically.

Chocolate-Covered Cherry Cookies

Ridiculously addictive! Fun to put together and quicker than I expected. Very rich, probably best served with a lighter dinner than I tried.

Sweet and Nutty Moroccan Couscous

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
So easy and yummy. This makes a lot though, so be sure you're making it for a side dish for at least four people. I'll make this again for sure. And maybe even with more fruit next time.

Shepherd's Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
Relatively easy and a crowd pleaser. I substituted Morningstar Farms soy meat crumblers for the ground beef for an excellent vegetarian dish.

Fig and Olive Tapenade

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
Very yummy. A bit of work, chopping everything and toasting the walnuts, so not as quick as some appetizers, but so worth it. Very unique and good.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
Some of the best brownies I've ever tasted. Not so out of hand that one does you in, but not too cakey either. And sooo easy to make. Thanks!

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
Fabulous! This made my cake especially fudgy and it looked beautiful. I'm terrible at icing cakes, but this just laid perfectly on it, so much less work for me for a much prettier icing. Thanks!

Great taste, be sure to mix in the spices well. Mine got a bit clumpy.

Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
Very good, lighter than cheddar mac and cheese. But I'd try it again with more gouda, since it is so light, sometimes there was barely any on the pasta.

Vegetarian Phad Thai

My husband's new favorite. And I can't get him to tell me any dish he loves, but he loves this one! Richer than what you normally get in a restaurant.

West African Peanut Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
A strange soup for sure, but so good. The name alone blows people's minds. It's very hearty, so be sure to serve with something light, like a salad.

An instant holiday favorite! I can see myself making this every year! I was going to take this to work, but my husband wouldn't let me. :) Thanks a bunch!

Date Nut Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
I made these vegan-style for my mom and sister, and they loved them. I just used egg replacer and a banana for the egg and unsalted margarine for the butter. Yummy and very different!

Corn Dog Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2006
This was a big hit with my very meat eater guy friends. It was fun to make and even more fun to eat. Be sure to serve something very light, if anything, with it, as it's very heavy. But so yummy! Thanks!

I'm thrilled by this recipe. It was quite the big hit with me and my friends. And despite how much time involved, it was actually very easy. Well written, down to earth recipe. Thanks!
