Classic Rice Pilaf

This turned out great; I loved the texture! Followed the recipe (omitted the optional saffron) and added a bit of dried parsley flakes and yellow food coloring to the simmering broth for visual appeal.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

The only thing I changed in this recipe is the amount of salt I added. I had a feeling 1 tsp would be too much so I just added a couple of quick shakes. Other than that, I followed the recipe with no adjustments and the result was really great. These are soft and chewy and have a great flavour. I used an ice cream scoop to place my cookies on the baking sheet and ended up with 32 cookies.
