Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
I love this recipe! The flavors are great. It is so nice to skip the potato peeling and have the potatoes ready and waiting when dinner comes together. No hurry, scurry and dirty dishes left in the sink making the mashed potatoes at the last minute. But best of all they are so good that my family even loves them warmed up for leftovers. A first for mashed potatoes at our house. You will love making this for family gatherings, church potlucks and just plain old family dinners.

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
This turned out great! I forgot I used to make this from my father-in-laws recipe. My never turned out as good as his and I think it was because I cut the skin off before cooking. I hated doing it too! This was tender and juicy and really a hit with my family of 8!!

Oven Baked Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
This was just okay for me. I used plain breadcrumbs (it was what I had on hand) and mixed with shredded parm. cheese. My kids liked them more then anyone!

Breakfast Casserole III

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2007
I tried this recipe for dinner. I followed the other reviewers suggestions. I used bacon, which is what I had on hand, fried the potatoes in the bacon grease to save time and then put it all together to cook. I also replaced the cheese with velvetta. It was good. It needed more seasoning, but I did not cook the potatoes in onion because I am nursing a baby and have to avoid onion. I think the onion would have added the extra flavor. Everyone asked for seconds so it must of been tastier then they lead me to believe by their responses. We will have it again, especially when I can add the onion.
