Grill Dough

Ok, I'll be honest. I flubbed the recipe somehow and bought pre-made dough from the store. I let it sit out for a couple hours, rise, get pliable. I rolled it out and threw it on the 'greased' gas grill, waited til it browned on one side, put the toppings on the browned side and put it back on the grill to grill the underneath. It ROCKED!!! It was 35 degrees outside and it was still worth it to cook on the grill as opposed to the oven. Fun and great tasting! Don't put the heat up too high on the grill though.... burn city. And check it often after you flip and put toppings on! :-)

Special Buttercream Frosting

I have one tip. Do not use butter flavored shortening! I thought I'd change up the recipe a bit and use butter flavored crisco. Mistake! I tossed the whole batch. All I tasted....was butter - and it was gross. I re-made it as-is and it was great! Yum.

Chocolate Pudding Cake III

This was DELICIOUS. I also did 1/2c. each of white and brown sugar...but other than that I followed the recipe and got rave reviews from everyone - including my friend who had requested a low-cholesterol dessert. The only thing I'd add to this is some vanilla ice cream on the side because holy cow this is ONE rich dessert! Very molten lava cake'ish! Looks SO weird going into the oven, but WOW it looked/tasted great afterwards. Will absolutely make again!

Buttery Soft Pretzels

These are freakin amazing!! I made them for a party and they were gone in seconds. Everyone asked for the recipe. Only thing I did was add a few squirts of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" to each one before I put the salt on and baked 'em. I will make these again...and again...and again! Thanks for the recipe Christa!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Woo hoo! Works for me! All I did differently was add about 1/4 c. Gorgonzola cheese to make it a Gorgonzola cream sauce - my husband wouldn't stop "oohing" and "aahing" while he was eating it. Great recipe - will make again!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I only had a 12 1/2 inch pan...so, through trial and error, had to take some of the cookie dough out so that it didn't overflow and start my oven on fire like it did the 1st time I tried it! Oops! I took about a cup and a half of dough out for the smaller pan. To grease the pan, I used butter flavored cooking spray and it made the cookie even better. GREAT recipe - I've had it for a week and have made 4 of these cookies already for bosses (was a perfect gift for bosses day - all decorated) and friends! All got RAVE reviews! Thanks!!

Cocktail Meatballs I

This recipe is awesome! Better double or even triple the recipe though - because they go FAST! I had approx 10 guests at my house this weekend and doubled the recipe that calls for 8 servings. They STILL went way too fast! (even though I had plenty of other hors d'oeuvres) Everyone LOVES them! Thanks Jennie!

Easy Shrimp Dip

I've made this a few times for various parties and everyone just raves about it. There couldn't be a more simple recipe. My only variant is that I spread the cream cheese over the entire plate, rather than just leaving the block in the middle. I then spread the cocktail sauce over the whole thing. Delish!
