Seafood Lasagna II

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
It was good. I did use the lump crab meat instead of imitation. I did also add frozen spinach from other reviewers suggestion which made it pretty. Overall nice dish, but expensive!

I actually used apple juice because thats all I had and it still turned out great. Thanks for the easy recipe. I may never buy canned cranberry again lol.

Coconut Curry Tofu

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
This was the first time I'd ever cooked with Tofu so it may have been me but I thought it was kinda soggy. I even followed suggestions and got the extra firm and tried frying it (although no one said how long so I may not have fried it long enough). The dish did have good flavor though so I'll give it four stars.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
These were awesome. I did follow other users advice and add chilli powder, cumin and frozen corn. Also I decided to top it off with a little sauce (alfredo, pesto and jalapeno juice mix) then top with cheese and bake for about 5 min.

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
This was awesome. I changed a few things because of what I had available. I used fresh green beans instead of celery, I used white wine and herb chicken broth instead of the water and bouillon cubes and I used a jar of turkey gravy instead of the milk and four. Perfect.

Blueberry Bread Pudding

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
I thought this was awesome. I followed suggestions and used extra cream (half and half since that's what I had). I had friends that aren't bread pudding lovers help me gobble it up!

Blue Cheese Waldorf Salad

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
This was very good. I used cinnamon instead of cayenne pepper and pecans instead of walnuts but I got lots of compliments last week and I'm going to make it again tonight.

Potato Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
These were really good. I made them with some leftover Salmon I had cooked the night before. I even made the patties earlier in the day and refrigerated them so dinner could be super quick. Thanks for the recipe.

This bread wasn't bad by any means, but I've had better and probably won't make it again. Thank you.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
This really was awesome. Even people who didn't like stuffing loved it. I followed another reviewer's instructions for cooking it without the turkey at 350 degrees for 40 min covered then 15 uncovered. Cooking it separate I also used about a cup or so extra stock to keep it moist. I also left out the liver.

Its good but don't substitute the eggs. I made that mistake when I tried using egg beaters and was not satisfied with the results.

I always double the glaze but this is very good. I had a couple people who say they don't usually eat meatloaf rave about it.

Cranberry Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
It was very tasty. I followed the suggestions of using an extra 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 2 eggs instead of the substitute. I also added a little ground ginger and nutmeg. I didn't have the walnuts so last min I threw some dried cranberries and white chocolate chips into the batter(happened to have them on hand) and it was very pretty and delicious.
