About this Cook
Hello My name is Anjie. I love to cook and learn. My favorite is baking. I have two teenagers that keep me very busy!! I have learned a lot of great recipes on this website and I am happy to be a member!
My favorite things to cook
Cookies! My grandmothers recipes! I love to try new recipes also!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother and mother have always cooked excellent meals. When my grandmother passed away I inherited her recipes. She could cook amazing dishes and pies. I still have not been able to master her pie dough! We tend to cook southern foods and comfort foods. We love mashed potatoes!!

Chicken Marsala
This is a great recipe. The chicken is very moist. My only recommendation is to double or triple the sauce. I made four chicken breasts and followed the recipe exactly and at the end of cooking there wasn't very much sauce. We all wanted more sauce.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken
Great!! So much flavor. I took advice from others and dipped in flour first however I'm not sure it was necessary since the sauce thickened right up for me. I followed the directions otherwise and it is yummy! We will have it again! I served it with Sweet and Spicy Green Beans from another recipe on here and wow it was a great meal!!

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans
Very Good. A little spicy but I have a heavy hand and it could have been the chili sauce I used. It's got a lot of flavor and my family really liked it. We will have it again.
