Me And My Sis Getting Ready To Eat Barbeque
About this Cook
Im a student right now. I grew up in family that always cooked. My mother is Mexican and Indian, and my father is mexican and arabian. I got most of my skills from my father when it come to the asian to medditeranian, and my mother gave me all my mexican food skills. I taught my self how to do the easy and quick meals, who doesnt though?
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are menudo, soupa, and enchiladas. Anything meditteranean or from the Latin culture.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a family of pretty good cooks unfortunatley I dont think I got that gene. But I can cook enought to get by. I was brought up with a military father so whenever he would come from a foreign place; he would bring all sorts of dishes. So were pretty diverse in what we cook but we typically stick to our latin roots.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I was cooking flan it was for my moms Valentine's Day Gift for my dad. Everything seemed to be going as planned but when I bit into it I realized that I had burned the sugar! HORRIBLE! So remember: BE CAREFUL WHEN FRYING SUGAR!

Ultimate Breakfast Casserole
This was Amazing! I tagged along with everyone else on adding more eggs I did five but most likely Ill do eight next time. I also cooked it with bacon instead of sausage and everyone loved it. I would say if you are going to cook with bacon cook it first and drain the oil dont put it in the casserole because more grease will cook out in the oven. But It was AMAZING! Our church group ate it up!

Mary's Meatloaf
My husband LOVED this! He really wanted a cream of mushroom meatloaf though (never had it) so I just replaced any of the ketchup and mustard w/cream of mushroom and it was a great success!! We also used Italian Style bread crumbs because I had to get rid of it. But I am so positive I will love your original recipe and everyone else would as well!
