Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
Would have put it as a 5 star but since I have never had a pulled pork sandwich, I don't have anything to compare it to. The flavor is great to me. My husband says it's missing just a little something. Very easy to make. The house smelled wonderful all day! Will make again. Play around with a few different spices.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
Oh my goodness!! These are terrific! I took suggestions from others and bought pre-made cookies and it turned out fabulous. I used devil's food cake mix and chocolate cookies. Only baked them for 17 minutes and the cookie had just started to melt. This one is a keeper!!

This is a fantastic marinade for shrimp. I have tried/made several marinades for shrimp, and this by far is the best! This is my go to recipe :)

Chop Suey

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
Wow this was good, and easy to make. I can't have msg - migraines - so finding a good easy to prepare chinese recipe is not easy. I used roasted chicken - thanks Costco - instead of pork and cut the cooking time down quite a bit. I couldn't find canned bean sprouts so I used fresh. Turned out perfect The family loved it and it tasted great the next day.

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
My family really liked this recipe. I let Costco bake my chicken for me and then added it to the recipe. I sauted my onion and added 2 tsp minced garlic. Turned out fantastic. Will make again real soon!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
This was a good recipe. The kids love the school apple crisp (can you believe I am trying to find a recipe that our public school uses?!) and this comes closest to their liking. I've had several request for me to make it again.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
I lost my recipe for this dish, but this one is pretty close. i did a little adjustments, but not much. I did saute the onions and added 2 tsp of minced garlic. Since my family members are all wimps, I used half a can of Rotel, and half a can of diced tomatoes with onion. Turned out great. I like the use of tortilla chips instead of corn tortillas. Good texture and less soggyness! It was gone the first nite!

Bacon Roasted Chicken

What a delish chicken. I put a whole sliced sweet onion in the chicken along with the carrots and 3 whole cloves of garlic! Very moist! Will use this recipe again, with turkey!

Chicken Enchiladas II

This is a great and simple recipe. I did make a couple of adjustments. I used about 2 tsp minced garlic instead of powder and swapped corn tortillas out for the flour tortillas. My family was impressed.

This was not at all what I expected. I followed the recipe but it did not come out the way it should. I will try again, but add a few other ingredients...

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
This was a great hit with the family. I did make a few adjustments to the recipe...I did think it was a little on the sweet side, so I added a dash or two of worcestershire sauce and about two teaspoons chili powder. That helped a lot. Next time I will cut the brown sugar in half. My teenagers requested I make this at least once a week.

Mongolian Beef I

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
This tasted GREAT..That is for what little portion I got to eat. My three teenagers ate this up before I knew it. I didn't add the red pepper flakes because we are all extreme wimps around here. It did take a bit of time to prepare, but worth it. Next time I will add a few veggies to stretch the portions. I've had several requests to make it again soon!

Lemon Herb Barbeque Sauce for Chicken

I have to say this was a little bland. I will try it again, but this time I will marinate the chicken at least a day before grilling.
