Krautburger
Wow, what a great recipe for my husband and I! I was worried about the quantity, so I used only one loaf of frozen bread, 1/2 of an onion and a little more than a quarter of the head of cabbage. I had some of the meat mixture left over, but the number of burgers we ended up with was a great for dinner and a few for leftovers. I will do an egg wash next time to get that crusty golden brown bun. I will be making this recipe for my parents who grew up on traditional german food - we'll see how they like it!

Sour Cream Pork Chops
My husband had to make this while I was at work on the weekend and as soon as I got home, he complained about all the steps for what he thought would be an 'easy' crockpot recipe (he followed the recipe exactly). But when we sat down to eat, he said it really wasn't too much trouble and the work was totally worth it because they were the best pork chops we've ever had! SOOOO tender, the gravy was delicious - we didn't have any leftovers. :)

Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Like everyone else, I used the recipe as a jumping off point. I sauteed peeled shrimp in butter and 4 cloves of minced garlic. I added a little frozen spinach to the pasta (I used thin spaghetti) and seasoned everything with parmesan-garlic italian pasta seasoning. I did like my version, and so did my husband, who usually thinks all pasta needs to be served smothered in sauce. I'm certain I'll will make it again, maybe even try something a little different with the seasonings next time.
