As I was assembling this recipe things did not seem right to me. A cookie dough with 4 eggs? Baking powder, not baking soda? But the recipe and SO MANY 5 star reviews that I trudged forward anyway. I quickly realized I should have listened to my gut, there is not amount of refrigeration that would have made this dough roll-able or cut-able. When I went back and re-read the positive reviews, most mentioned making changes to an, at best, mediocre recipe. So here is an honest review of the recipe as written: do not waste your precious time or ingredients! There are better recipes on the back of the Crisco can.
