About this Cook
It's me, the husband, and baby. I grew up on a farm where we worked hard and ate a lot. I've really had to tone down the amount I cook and how I cook it. For my job, I work in program management. I'm pretty laid back most of the time. I enjoy biking and camping. I welcome any suggestions on recipes for 2 people.
My favorite things to cook
Ohhh... there are so many. Unfortunately it's been quite the task to downsize the meals. I love stuffed cabbage, egg rolls, a home created recipe called brocks, meatloaf, and lasagna.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sugar cookies. Every year I go home and we pull out the old copper cookie cutters and make sugar cookies with real butter. My dad has to taste test them to ensure they aren't too soft or too browned. We use a family recipe that's delicious.

Baked Kale Chips
Pretty good for being healthy. Husband and the 2 yr old loved them. Definitely have to be careful regarding the baking time.

Cabbage Rolls II
Turned out dry and unflavorful. I'll stick to my Mom's recipe and just attempt to adapt it for a slow cooker.

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers
First, I still have yet to officially bacon wrap these. I keep forgetting the bacon until I'm half done cooking everything. However, the burgers themselves are still delicious. My husband has requested that I make them this way every time. The bacon just ends up being an optional side.
