Dark German Chocolate Cake
Im a Chocoholic at heart..and Oh My Gosh, this recipe does not dissapoint, it is fantastic! I decided to make cupcakes, this recipe made approx 44 regular sized cupcakes, filled 2/3 full. I did not change a thing ingredient wise. Very moist and delicious! I Piped around the outer edge with the Creamy Chocolate frosting recipe from this site and pipped a dollup of coconut/pecan German Chocolate frosting in the middle on top. Topped each cupcake off with a candied pecan piece and a drizzle of Chocolate ganache. Took 3 dozen to work for a bake sale and these recieved RAVE reviews from everyone! Thank you keklang for an awesome recipe!

Refried Beans Without the Refry
Best refried beans ever... I used 5 cups chicken broth and 4 cups of water. We love onion so I diced it up instead of halved. I used a whole jalepeno instead of half. I was a little concerned that a whole jalepeno would be too much spice but it left no spicy taste at all. I may use 2 peppers next time! After reading a few "too salty" reviews, I did not use any salt but they did need about 2 teaspoons of salt after cooking. Apparantly my slow cooker cooks very hot on the high setting so after the first 3 hours I did need to add an additional 1 cup of water so I turned the cooker down to low and cooked for another 7 hours which was perfect. Instead of straining the beans, I spooned off the extra juice on top with a large spoon which was easily done, then mashed them and kept them warming in the slow cooker. Topped the beans with shredded jack or pepperjack cheese which was awesome! We had invited a few friends over for dinner, the beans were the perfect side dish and burrito filling with the Carne Asada, Spanish rice and tortillas which we served! I will never use canned refried beans again! Thank you for the awesome recipe!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II
WOW...Absolutely heavenly! The only thing I did different was add extra spinach (10 oz. box.) Lots of oohs & ahhs from the entire family. So quick & easy to make. Perfect recipe! I can't hardly wait to make it again! And YES it is great right out of the dish with a spoon! Thanks!
