Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
The brining makes all the difference for super juicy turkey. I used rosemary instead of thyme (just because I did not have any). I loved my 7 year old niece's comment during dinner..."The turkey is good this year"!

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
Definitely a winner! I have been making this recipe for a few years now (almost the exact same recipe too). The pork is also really nice bbq'd. Still coat with the dijon and then grill, brush again when you turn the meat! Yummy!

Unbelievably Good Fruit Dip

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
I served this for a group and had numerous inquiries on where I had "bought it". When I told them I made it, everyone was so impressed. It went great with fresh strawberries and golden pineapple!

Curried Hummus

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
I made this for my pre natal class, and served it with mixed veggies and plantain chips. Everyone loved it...especially my boyfriend! The amount of curry was just right and goes particularly well with the plantain chips. I will definately make this very often!

Roasted Chicken with Risotto and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
This risotto was great! Unfortunately, I did not realize that I was out of chicken until I went to make this. So I changed this into a Grilled Steak with Risotto and Caramelized Onions. I grilled slices of steak medium rare and chopped them up and added the pieces at the end instead of the chicken. I also used half and half beef broth and chicken broth. And for a final touch I added about a quarter of a cup of grated parmesan when adding the onions back in at the end. Delish!

I made these in a care pack for my boyfriend's family at Christmas. They were the perfect sweet for the holidays. A tasty little treat after dinner with coffee.
