Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
I have made multiple meals from recipes from this site and this is by far one of my top 5! I made a few changes... I doubled the recipe. I used a 4lb loin. I generously seasoned the meat with salt, pepper and garlic salt. I added red skin potatoes to the bottom of the crockpot (instead of onions). After placing the meat in the crockpot I added some baby carrots. Overall this was EXCELLENT. I cooked it on low for 9 hours while I was at work. It feel apart in my mouth. 5 stars!

Chicken Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
mmmm! This was yummy and easy. It was a little blan but with some "doctoring" up I think I can make it perfect! I boiled the chicken and mixed the ingredients the night before. Then after work I just had to put the Pillsbury pie crust in the pan and I was all set. Overall, I thought this was an excellent. Next time I will add some seasoning to the chicken because it was a little blan.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
Awesome recipe. I made a few minor changes. 1) I purchased thin sliced chicken breasts. It saves you from having to pound the chicken. 2) I dipped the chicken in flour mixed with paprika, then egg, then bread crumbs. Then I placed the cheese rolled inside of the ham (to avoid spilling out) and then rolled it all inside the chicken breast. ** I use provolone cheese! It is creamier and goes over much better with my family** 3) I placed a dab of butter on each breast. 4) I made the sauce as someone else suggested with cream of chicken soup, sour cream and lemon juice. My mother in law makes a better sauce though. I need to get the receipe for it. It has more of cheese flavor.

Excellent and very easy! Do not be afraid to use different types of berries. I also used even more berries than the recipe required. VERY GOOD!

Creme Brulee French Toast

I followed the recipe cooking this for 40 minutes and it was not good. It was soggy and too sweet. It tasted like soggy scrambled eggs with syrup on them. Ewwey.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
Best thing I have ever made. I did not use fresh garlic or basil or parsley because I did not have them in the house. So I used garlic in a jar and dried basil and parsley. In addition, I just used regular Italian sausage because I didn't have any others at home. This turned out GREAT!!!

General Tsao's Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
Good recipe. I did not include the MSG or onions because my boyfriend hates onion. But I did add brocolli. It was wonderful. However...I think what this recipe needs is the red sherry wine. When I looked up other authentic chinese general tsao chicken recipes they used Red Sherry wine!!

My boyfriend is a VERY picky eater and he loved this!!! Since he is picky I could not use regular chunky salsa so I used taco bell sauce that comes in a jar which has NO CHUNKS! Excellent recipe!

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
Very Easy. I used both ginger snap cookies and graham cracker sticks. I put some of both of those at the bottom of the dip and when the dip is gone the cookies are soft and very yummy!
