Country Style Barbecued Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I used 1/2 the ketchup because I thought it was way too much and substituted the rest for BBQ sauce. My husband and I liked the flavor and it came out very tender. I also cooked it a little longer than the recipe said to.

Hearty Meatball Sandwich

Yummy recipe. I added a little basil and took the advice of another reviewer and cooked the meat in the sauce.

These pancakes were amazing! I added some pecans to the processor and it gave them a great texture and flavor. These are much more filling than your average pancake

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Tortilla Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
Good recipe. I added a pear because I had some lying around. Just make sure you eat it quickly. I made this for a snack for the family. Next time I will cut the recipe in half so we don't struggle to finish it. I also bought cinnamon chips instead of making them.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
These are great. Everyone who tries them wants the recipe. I love that they taste like processed peanut butter cups, except I can make them with organic ingredients and feel good about eating and sharing them.

Inger's Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This was my first homemade spaghetti sauce and it turned out very well. I made it in the crock-pot so I could fix it and forget it. I also added more vegetables like cooked carrots and then pureed it after it all cooked because we like a smooth sauce. This is a great way to sneak in tons of veggies.

Basil Garlic Crescents

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I found this recipe trying to use up some cottage cheese. I followed this recipe to a T and the texture came out terrible. They were very dry. I wouldn't make again.

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
These came out well. I used laughing cow cheese and added garlic to it. I dipped in butter and bread crumbs after I rolled the chicken up.

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
These were great. Took the advice of another reviewer and put the chicken on a cooling rack and then put that on a baking sheet. This made the nuggets very crispy. Much much better than the processed junk you buy in the frozen food section.

Cheesy Broccoli Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This was pretty good. My husband really liked it so I will continue to make it. The texture wasn't the best for me, but the flavor was good.

Oregon Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This came out very well, I cooked some salmon and then flaked it for this recipe instead of using canned. Then I took the patties and made them into sandwiches.

Pretzel Fruit Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I liked the way this recipe gave a sweet and salty taste. The crust tasted a little too buttery for my tastes, but overall it was good. Trying to crush the pretzels uniformly was a real pain though.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This is the best french toast I have ever made! I added a little more cinnamon, but other than that followed the recipe exactly. Once you make it like this, you will never go back!

This is my favorite lasagna recipe. I use homemade spaghetti sauce instead of jarred for better nutrition. Yum.

I made these for a superbowl party and they were a hit! I left the olives out for personal taste, but otherwise followed the recipe.

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
Very disappointing. Even though I cooked these the proper amount of time (which is way less than this recipe calls for), they came out dry and crumbly. I'll keep searching for the perfect recipe.

I used chopped broccoli instead of spinach because we are big broccoli fans. The recipe was pretty good, but was a lot of work.

These had great flavor. I never would have thought to marinade zucchini. I have both grilled and pan fried these and they always come out great!
