Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2012
Used a bit less cayenne pepper and white beans in place of 1/2 of the diced tomatoes and we loved it over potatoes.

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
A little spicier than expected, I enjoyed, but my kids didn't like it as much. Next time I will use regular diced tomatoes and less chili powder.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
I used 2/3 of the chili seasoning and it was still a little spicy for my young family. Had great reviews from others and was good - just will lower the heat next time.

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
I made this dairy free by using coconut milk, and it turned out well in a casserole. This is my new go to recipe for cream style soups.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
I made this like the recipe says and should have added additional spices. I will try that next time and also blend some of the soup to make it less watery.

Streusel Rhubarb Dessert

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
Next time I'll do as reviewers suggest, either keep recipe and use a smaller pan (8X8) or double the fruit for the larger pan. Delicious.

Baked Tortilla Chips

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Next time I need to make sure these are thinner and not stacked, but in a single layer because it took much longer to cook than I expected. The thinner ones were perfect, thicker ones not so much.

Italian Sausage Chili

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
I made some minor changes and loved the chili. I used 1/4 cup dried celery and 1/4 cups dried onion since I did not have regular, and used 1/2 cup red pepper since for both pepper, I then doubled the tomatoes and did not use the water, I also doubled the chili powder and added a can of black beans. This chili was great, my whole family ate it.

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
I used whole wheat flour instead of white, and although they didn't rise as quickly, they were still delicious and easy to make. Much nicer than store bought whole wheat buns with all the preservatives.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
My topping was wetter than normal, I think it was because I made ahead of time and then cooked the next day. Tasted good, but a little too sugary.

I made this with gluten free bread and vegetarian. I added extra broth so it wouldn't be dry when I cooked it in the crockpot, and it was perfectly done. Rave reviews at Thanksgiving, I will be passing this recipe along.
