Everyone loved this, even my husband that doesn't like garbanzo beans liked them in this salad. I used regular tomatoes, didn't add lemon juice as didn't have any.

Poached Tuna Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
We're not fish lovers so I'm always looking for recipes that we enjoy. This one will be toward the top of the list. The tuna was moist and flavorful. We like cilantro so that wasn't an issue at all. I also substituted using orange. We had leftovers and felt that it was even better the next day as it took on all the flavors and stayed moist. Thanks for sharing this recipe

Excellent, served with roast for a hosted dinner. Great reviews, didn't have mushrooms so left them out and used swiss cheese. Made again last night, used Asparagus instead of mushrooms. Excellent. Will continue making with different options as great side dish.

My husband stated this was the best Rib Roast he's ever had! We like our's med/rare so I took out after 1 1/2 hours and let it rest. The flavor was excellent. This will be the only way I fix Rib Roast.

Grilled Chicken and Portobello Lasagna Rollups

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
Excellent although I did some subs as didn't have mushrooms or some of the other ingredients. Added sundried tomatoes, used fresh spinach that I sauted in olive oil and garlic. Used tomatoe based sauce instead of Alfredo and no pine nuts. Husband loved it, easy and good use of left over chicken. Thanks for the great recipe!

Spicy Honey Mustard Pork Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
I wanted to make this and the recipe with sauerkraut so I made some changes. Followed recipe through #3 cook for one hour, remove and flip in pan, then I slit down the middle about 2 inches and added 1 cup + of kraut stuffing in the 2 inch slit then poured the remaining sauce over the roast, and cooked an additional hour. Next time I’ll double the sauce as others have suggested. Served with green beans w/almonds. Everyone loved it.

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
Excellent, easy to make very healthy. I made some modifications as didn't want to go to the store and we're eating healthy. So, I cut the recipe in 1/2 Here's what I left out as I didn't have any - green chile peppers and cheese. I used white Navy beans. Here's what I added to make it a little healthier, turmeric and 1 chopped carrot. To thicken I added arrowroot, great thickener and allowed on Gluten free diet I understand. I did put in the cinnamon as that is on the healthy food list and I agree with those that say "don't leave out the cinnamon". I rarely make things twice with all the wonderful recipes but I'll make this one again, healthy and my husband loved it.

Creamy Kale Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
This is a great recipe. I've made it as written and also with subs as once I didn't have Yogurt so used sour cream. I've also used cranraisins and pecans or I've diced apples and feta. Use your imagination. I always try to make enough for left overs. This recipe can also be made the day before. I recommend messaging the kale with a little olive oil, the lemon and a pinch of sea salt until it turns bright green and starts to soften, usually 3 to 5 minutes.

Dave's Georgia Black Eyed Peas

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
Made for a New Year's Day dinner party. 1/2 the recipe. I didn't use the water the beans had soaked in, I rinsed the beans after soaking them over night, put in crockpot with 2 cups of chicken stock and 1cup of water. I did not use bacon, cooked 1 cut up onion in butter and olive oil, added 2cups cut up ham and pepper then put in crockpot. Cooked on high for 1 hour then low for 6 hours. Perfect. No one had ever had black eyed peas but they all loved it and there was none left. Thanks for this easy wonderful recipe.
