Texas Style Chicken Tequila

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
Update to my previous review! Ok, I've done this dish now four times and it has to be in my top 3 chicken dishes I've prepared so far from this great website. It's sooooo tasty! To make things more interesting, I doubled the amount of tequila! Other than that, I followed the recipe as instructed and it turned out absolutely great. As a side-dish, I cooked the Mexican sour cream rice and it's a great combination...along with savory deviled eggs! An absolute winner of a combination and dish! Kudos to Brenda, the author of this great chicken recipe!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
This is a great recipe!! I had to make a couple of minor alterations since I wasn't able to fold the jumbo-sized chicken breasts that I used for this recipe. First, I replaced the slices of bacon with crumbled bacon and added it to the sour cream / spinach mixture. I then added melted butter on top of the jumbo chicken breasts before sprinkling them with lemon pepper spice! The meal was gobbled up by my girlfriend and I in a few minutes.

Salsafied Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
One word to describe this recipe: YUMMY!!I've prepared this recipe on three different occasions because my girlfriend keeps asking me to cook it for her. My best friend also found it amazing. I've always added more chicken in order to make it 'meatier'. Next time, I will replace the chicken with hot Italian sausage just to give it a try.

Italian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
This is a wonderful recipe! The prosciutto / sun-dried tomato mixture was excellent; however, I will reduce the amount of sage next time to make the mixture less 'salty'. Since I'm a visual type of man, this recipe goes well with scalloped, garlic potatoes and steamed green beans or carrots as side dishes. Very colorful!

Bacon Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
This is a great recipe! I've made two very minor alterations: 1. Instead of using slices of bacon, I replaced them with bacon chunks (or cut up pieces of bacon, not be confused with bacon bits) that you can purchase at Costco. 2. I will reduce the amount of seasoning salt to half the advertised amount to make it less salty. That being said, it didn't take long for my girlfriend and I to gobble up this wonderful, tasty dish. I will definitely prepare this again!

Absolutely delicious! What a wonderful taste. No adjustments had to be made! I made this recipe with the 'pasta in pink vodka sauce' recipe; what a great combination! Both my girlfriend and I craved the meal. I'll definitely make it again!

Penne with Pink Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
Excellent recipe and very tasty. I simply replaced the penne with rotini pasta. Next time, I will cut half the amount of crushed tomatoes, since I found it a bit too watery but still, the taste of the pasta was wonderful nonetheless. I added a tiny more vodka 'for maximum effect!' :-) I will definitely make it again.

Black Bean and Rice Enchiladas

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
This was VERY delicious to the point that I've made this recipe on at least 10 different occasions! I've made a few alterations: instead of brown rice, I used white rice and I've rarely used salsa. Since I like my food very spicy, I've added chopped jalapeno peppers and added extra hot / picante sauce! Yeah, it's spicy alright!! On a few occasions, I topped the filled tortilla with sour cream! Wow!

Cajun Deviled Eggs

This is possibly my fourth or fifth time that I've made this recipe! It was so easy to make. Since I like my food quite spicy, I added extra cayenne pepper and the cajun deviled eggs simply taste fantastic.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
Simply delicious!! Fyi, I've prepared this dish as an appetizer for supper on at least 5 occasions and it's an absolute winner. I've made a few alterations including replacing greasy bacon with crumbled bacon. Further, after tasting this wonderful recipe for the first time, I haven't included mustard since as part of the mixture and rest assured, the eggs taste much better. I'll definitely make this recipe for house parties!!

Very good and very spicy! Just the way I like it! To those who can't stand the heat, simply top the burrito with sour cream as my girlfriend did. I tried it and I have to admit, she was right! Excellent recipe!
