Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
This recipe was AWESOME! I only cooked 9 sprouts to try this so it only took about 20 minutes to cook. After the first 20 minutes, I turned off the heat and let them sit in the oven another 10 minutes, shaking the baking sheet every 5 minutes. The entire household loved them.

Blue Cheese, Bacon and Chive Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
This was a simple quick recipe to make. My husband loved it...thought I had actually bought it premade from Henry's. He had no suggestions to tweak it. Yummy yummy!

Chicken Pot Pie Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
WOW, so easy and yummy. I tried to cut down on sodium, so I used Healthy Request soup mixes and fresh veggies. I added diced potatoes, corn, celery, and mushrooms. I stuck everything in the crock pot for a few hours and the family devoured it! Thanks for a great recipe.

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
These muffins are excellent, my family can't get enough of them! I tried to make them as healthy as possible, so I used the suggested applesauce, egg whites, and brown sugar Splenda Blend. I also upped the vanilla to 1 teaspoon, ommitted the raisins, and the best part of all...added 2 smashed bananas-Yummy!!! Thanks for the recipe and great suggestions.

Grilled Wild Duck Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
Excellent recipe. A tip for those who want to eliminate the "wild game" taste as much as possible is to soak the duck breasts in salted ice water for about an hour before using. I suggest about a Tablespoon of salt per quart. Make sure to use ice water as it will draw out blood. Then rinse the breasts thoroughly and quickly pat dry with paper towel before adding to the marinade. This recipe is a keeper!

Breakfast in a Muffin

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
These are a great meal on the go for the kids. They tasted good and cooked up beautifully. I think next time I will add bacon bits to the batter as well, and maybe try some sausage. These are an excellent, and different, muffin. Try them!

This s a great recipe, especially when you follow a combination of the reviews i.e 1 3/4 cup flour, 1 cup pb, 3 bananas, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chocolate chips. Couldn't keep these in the house, everybody loved them.

Halloween Popcorn Pumpkins

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
This is a great recipe for classroom treats. My kids loved helping to make them and everyone ate them right up. I added a leaf to the pumpkin, by dying some extra popcorn green and placing one at the base of each stem, made them even cuter! I also used a thick pretzel stick for the stem instead of licorice.
