About this Cook
I retires at 45 years old. I am a mother of 3 bright adults, grandmother of 5 beautiful Grandchildren, Wife to one lucky guy for 30 years. I plan to open a 6 Themed room Bed & Breakfast with my Sister Becca. My husband is a sports promoter for a local Mixed Martial Arts Organization and I get to cook for some of the fighter now and again.
My favorite things to cook
Italian meals, Mexican Meals, Home cooked Southern meals, Healthy dishes. I love breads for the holidays, so I cook breads and cookies and give them away as homewarmers, Breads warms the home.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My passion of cooking came when I was talked each weekend to cook for our church after Sundays sermon. For years I was always called to "cook my favorite dish" they would say to butter me up. We moved from Sunny California to settle here in Vancouver Washington in 1994. We have lived here since. I don't cook much for the new church, but still hold a Sunday dinner for family and friends. I am a true believer of "Food For the Soul"
My cooking triumphs
Learning to cook for family and friends and still have family and friends.
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedy was when I was cooking a Mexican meal for 45 people and running out of food.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo
I got to feed 150 hungry Mixed Martial Arts Athletes with this recipe. Being that this is a bar they were expecting fried food, well I surprised them with this dish and it was a hit! I was able to individually pack the rest up and added it to our menu for the next day. This dish is truly the best one so far. Esther Patterson
