Wow, this is a really fabulous and moist recipe. I made it into a bundt cake and sprinkled powdered sugar on it for a Thanksgiving dessert and it got rave reviews from young and old alike. Like the other reviewers, I doubled the spices in the recipe. I also mixed the spices with the dry ingredients first to distribute the spice flavors evenly. Instead of water, I used milk and I decreased the sugar and the oil by half a cup each, and it still came out fabulous! The bundt cake took a bit longer to bake though... I had it in the oven for about one hour and 20 minutes before the toothpick came out clean.
