Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
Fantastic. I had a 4.5 pound roast and only let it "sit" in the oven after turning off the heat for 2 hours before turning it back on for about 25 minutes. It was perfect!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
This was pretty tasty and fairly easy to make. I used raw shrimp instead, which I think turns out better than cooked. Also used thinly sliced white onions (didnt have green) and added sliced mushrooms as well... turned out well.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2011
Wow... this is delicious! Per another review, I tried this baked at 425 for 20 minutes (I had thick filets) and it was perfect! Husband liked it too, even though he typically doesn't like cooked salmon.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Delicious and moist chocolate cake. The only thing I changed was reducing the amount of water to 1/2 cup... I like a slightly denser cake. Anyway, it came out really yummy with a great texture!

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
So yummy! One recipe frosts about 24 cupcakes. I used half butter and half butter-flavored Crisco as well as a little less sugar and milk vs. cream and it was delicious and smooth! Worked very well for piping frosting onto cupcakes. This will be my go-to frosting.

Blueberry Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2011
These are delicious and easy to make. You can even substitute the half and half with yogurt, which worked well in my batch... and you can use other fruits too.

This was really tasty, refreshing and simple to make. Most of thew ork is prepping the veggies. I made this for a summer baby shower and got rave reviews.

Madeleines II

Reviewed: May 10, 2011
Like previous reviewer... I thought Madeleines were supposed to be dense, rich cookies. These came out light and fluffy for me. They are good, but not what I was expecting as Medeleines.

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
Yumm! So simple and so tasty. After reading the other reviews, I let it simmer for 20 minutes and also used a potato masher to mash up the broccoli so it was nice and hearty. The only thing I added was some salt. Will definitely make again. Thanks for the recipe!

Marbled Almond Roca

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
This is so addictive! I doubled the recipe to make enough for a larger cookie sheet. I stirred the nuts into the caramel before pouring in the pan and used all semisweet chocolate chips instead, then sprinked sea salt on top. FABULOUS! Another variation that my husband and friends love is using white chocolate and crushed candy canes... so YUM!

Ultimate Double Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
OMG... this is fantastic!!! I followed the recipe exactly, and then added in a cup of Heath chips, then rolled the dough into balls and they baked up perfectly! I think for the holidays, I'll add in chopped candy canes. These are spectacular... like a fudge brownie cookie with a crisp crust. My new favorite cookie recipe!

This was great! I substituted sliced leeks for the scallions. I also added one thick sliced bacon, diced and fried with 1 cup of corn to the soup afterwards.
