Heather's Grilled Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
This was AMAZING. I only had the frozen cheap salmon and a Foreman grill. I marinated overnight and this was DELICIOUS, even as leftovers! I might try this on chicken too. Yum!

Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
I prepared this exactly as listed. It was much too vinegary. My father-in-law loves broccoli salad and commented that this wasn't any good (fortunately for me, we were at a potluck and he never found out it was me who brought it!) Guess that will show me to always try out a recipe before I take it somewhere no matter how good the reviews are.

Pizza Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
I was looking for a quick & easy recipe using ground beef. This was perfect!! I love that it only has six ingredients and was still very tasty. I substituted bowtie pasta for rotini (I used about 12 oz.) and onion powder instead of onion (hubby hates onion bits). We both loved it! It was also very filling, and we have a ton of leftovers so I don't have to cook tomorrow night :). Will definitely make again!

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
These were pretty good, nothing exceptional but I would probably make them again. I made them with spicy sausage--ground beef is a little too bland for my taste buds--and they were pretty good.

Grilled Shrimp and Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
This was great! I did listen to the other reviewers and added 1 1/2 T. of cornstarch, doubled the sauce, and cooked the shrimp in with the chicken. I also exchanged chicken broth for the wine and it was still fabulous! I forgot to split the spices up differently after I doubled the spices--the sauce was a little bland and the meat a little spicy but that was my fault. The hubby and the in-laws all loved it! Also steamed some broccoli and mixed it in and served with garlic bread. Great tasting recipe and it's really simple!!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
I have to admit, I was skeptical at first. I am not a big fan of lasagna...it always seems too bland to me. But this lasagna was fabulous!! It does take a bit of time to prepare, but it is well worth it. I did scale back on the salt and sugar and used spicy Jimmy Dean sausage. The in-laws raved over this lasagna!! You must try this recipe!

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
These potatoes are amazing! I was going to make another kind of potatoes but didn't have cream cheese, so I quickly looked on allrecipes and found this one. I'm glad I did! My husband (who is definitely not a cook) took these on and they turned out great!! We didn't have any tarragon, so I used marjarom. I also added some garlic salt and cheese. We will definitely make these again!
