Peruvian Style Beer Can Chicken

I made this for company tonight and it was a huge hit! So moist and delicious. I did it in the oven for two and a half hours on 250 for a 5# chicken.

Warm Dijon Potato Salad

I gave this three stars because I liked it but hubby wouldn't eat more than two bites! I made it as written but as others have said, I think it would benefit from some chopped celery. Also, we like spicy things but I felt the amount of cayenne pepper was a bit much. It seemed like that was a major flavor that came through.

Haluski - Cabbage and Noodles

Love cabbage and noodles! The only thing I do different is cook the cabbage first and add some garlic/wine seasoning (from the Melting Pot) Delish! We use this as a side dish so no addition of any type of meat is needed. I also skip the baking step.

Awesome Italian Hoagie Spread

Made this for a party, most people liked it well enough to make it again. As written, I felt the onions were too strong after it sat for a while. I think I will cut down on onions and perhaps use ham in lieu of turkey. Needs a little bit more taste for me.

Butter Rich Spritz Butter Cookies

The cookie dough did not want to come out of my electric cookie press. I added some of the egg whites and another 1/2 yolk. After all that, the taste was bland.......the search goes on. Maybe I should have added more butter like other reviewers have suggested.

Cheeseburger Soup I

Hubby thought it was great and went back for seconds. I thought that the boiling the ground beef that long made the pieces too small. If I make this again I think I will remove some of the larger pieces and add them in at the end.

Habanero Pepper Jelly

Talk about vinegar......too much of a vinegar taste for me. Can't get past that bitterness. The spice of the peppers helps but I know I won't be making this recipe again. Also, I only got 6 1/2 jars. The search goes on for another recipe...sorry

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

So yummy and moist. I did use my homemade jalapeno mustard along with the mayo and omitted the steak sauce. I used chicken with the bone and skin on too. Probably not the best for your health but the taste was delish!

Best Tuna Casserole

The search goes on....the cheese did not do it for me in this recipe. Hubby ate it and said it was OK but we'll see what happens with the left-overs. I cut back on the noodles a bit so it wouldn't be dry, per other reviews, but still lacked flavor.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I followed this recipe to the letter. Very disappointed. I have huge sink holes in the center, the tops spread all over and made a mess. I think these have to go in a cupcake pan and not a muffin pan because I only got five muffins filled to the top as directed. If you plan on making these, I sould suggest reading the reviews and alter the recipe in place of making them as written. Crumbly and tasteless too.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

First off I must admit I do not like peanut butter. (hiding my head in shame) I made these for Christmas along with ten or so other kinds of cookies and these were by far the most asked for. Those who tried them wanted the recipe or wanted me to make another batch. This is a keeper for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Pickled Pepper and Onion Relish

Flavor was decent but somehow I expected something different - perhaps with tomatoes it would be better. In addition to that the pickling spice that I used was very hard and did not soften after being canned for almost a year now. Probably won't make again.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

I will first say that I live near Buffalo, NY so I know what a Buffalo Chicken Wing should taste like. We never flour them prior to frying, baking is out of the question, and Franks Hot Sauce is a must. While these were good, they are NOT Buffalo Chicken Wings.

I think that 3 eggs was a bit much for this recipe. The flavor was good but seemed more like a breakfast food then a dinner side dish. I will make again but cut it back to 2 eggs.

Brown Butter Cookies

This is a nice soft cookie but without the frosting it was bland. If I make it again I will double the frosting and really pile it on. Whew the calories though.
