Kielbasa Appetizers

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2013
I'm giving this 5 stars because the sauce is amazing but I admit I've never tried it with kielbasa- this is my go to meatball recipe for parties :)

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2013
I did not use the soup or the tomatoes, simply substituted for a jar of salsa. I added some green chilies and put some cheese into the mixture. Hubby liked it alot and we froze half for another nights meal. Will make again

Tater Tot Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
i've always loved this recipe however I do use cream of celery soup rather than mushroom. As other suggested, I always mix in the soup with the beef and onion. This time around I also layered in green beans because why dirty another pan :)

Beef Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
This was a winner in my household. I just used the can sauce and will add a bit more next time as well as a bit more onion. GREAT recipe and I personally have no issue with it being flour tortillas. YUM

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2011
It was good but I have to admit I was a tad disappointed. I make an artichoke dip that uses the same ingredients so I was really anticipating it to be like the dip on top of the chicken. For my personal taste the artichoke was a little too much. The family liked it so it wasn't a fail

Stuffed Kielbasa

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
I would agree with others, cook the kraut first. Very good and easy dish. Next time I will use cheddar cheese though, it was hard to taste the mozzarella

A great alternative to my usual way of cooking Tilapia- thanks for sharing!

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
I took the suggestions of others and dipped in flour and pan fried for a bit. I also used half ketchup and half bbq and cooked for 40 minutes. Fiance and I both liked it but I think next time I will skip the BBQ as I feel it overpowered the flavor

Cornbread Muffins I

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I made these for Thanksgiving after making Cornbread Muffins II last year. I have to say I like them both! I think these have a more true corn bread consistency and texture though. I haven't decided if I like the pieces of corn though

Appetizer Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I made these for Christmas Eve but not as a kabob, just the chicken bites with toothpicks and they were wonderful!!! I will use this marinade for whole chicken breasts for a dinner sometime. NUMMY

Creamy PHILLY Pesto Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
EASY and my boyfriend loved it. I personally think it was a little too cream cheese tasting so perhaps next time I will use a little less

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I was really looking forward to making these but to be honest, it was ALOT of work! I took the day off to do baking and I ended up spending my entire day on these. I suppose much of that was my choice to dip all of them in almond bark for that nice coating. My favorite flavor was the easiest, adding a lg spoonful of peanut butter and then drizzling melted peanut butter over the top. If I make again, it would be that flavor only.

Country Green Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I made these for Christmas Eve dinner and everyone liked them. Green beans are my favorite vegetable so I'm always looking for ways to dress them up. I too used chicken broth instead of water and bacon rather than ham

Earthquake Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This recipe was my lifesaver this Christmas. I had a couple baking disasters and needed cookies in a hurry. You can't get much easier than this. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was it was kind of bland, I think it needs chocolate chips added and it would be perfect!

Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
My mother has made this recipe for years and always gets rave reviews. I needed to make it one day and knew I'd find it here :) It turned out perfect. I opted for real onion and I didn't measure cheese or corn flakes, just used whatever amount covered the dish.

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
I gave this recipe to my boyfriend to make due to my never ending to do list for Christmas. I was worried they wouldn't come out very pretty but to my surprise I came home and they looked perfect!! THEN once cooled, I flipped them over and saw an ooey gooey mess!!!!! I can only assume it was the fact that we used reduced fat margarine and didn't know ahead of time to not stir while boiling. I think we'll have to give it another shot. **** UPDATE*** Made again with real butter and did not stir and what a difference!! Turned out perfect. The toffee did soften the next day but I kind of like it better that way.

Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I obviously did something very wrong because this did not turn out for me. I did use more pasta than called for so that had a lot to do with it. Although I did drain the beef, it sure seemed greasy. Not sure if I'll make a second attempt.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
We love this recipe!! The cream cheese makes such a wonderful CREAMY alfredo sauce. So often the jar sauces get absorbed too quickly by the noodles but not this sauce.

Spinach Basil Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
The best tasting pasta salad! I too used bacon rather than Prosciutto and I did end up picking out a lot of the basil and spinach leaves, for some reason it just seemed to much to me. Will definetely make again.
