Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
I followed the instructions completely and it was great. I may add a little mustard next time but that is just a personal preference. It is great just the way it is.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
This is simple and great. I did wish for a second container of barbque sauce to add for some people sandwiches that like them wetter. But the pork was great and just fell apart.

Dad's Leftover Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
AWESOME!! Husband, Parent, and 3 year old approved. This was a great use of the turkey left overs from the holidays and took some time but nothing hard. My parents loved it and my dad asked for the recipe. I halfed it to make only one pie since there were only 4 adults and a 3 year old and got scared there wouldn't be enough with everyone coming back for more. Only change was that I added some of the left over gravy into it in place of some of the chicken broth just because I had it on hand. I can't wait till i have left overs again to make it again. :) It is our new day after Turkey dinner recipe.

Irish Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
This was a hit with my family. We used the ground lamb. I am not a cheese eater so we made it without the cheese, just a little extra milk and butter in the potatoes. My husband and daughter then mixed in cheese after it was done. I am thrilled to find a recipe I like. I have always loved shepherd's pie.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2011
We love this recipe, it is simple and quick. It is also husband and 3 year old approved. I do use chix broth instead of water, but I do that in most recipes. As for adding veggies, I have done it two ways, one where I cooked veggies seperate and just mixed in before serving and once where I added them at the end when I added the biscuits. Either way worked fine for me. Also good without veggies at all. Trick: When placing biscuit dough in slow cooker, pull it into smaller pieces and then do a stir to stir it into the mixture. Some people are complaining about the biscuits being done and I never had this problem and I think it is because I did mix them in and they didn't just sit on top. We have this about once a month during the winter.
