Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2013
Loved this recipe. We made a few changes but nothing major. Added a can of diced tomatos. Used 2 cans of kidney beans. Three cups of chicken broth. I used dried spices 1T basil 1/2T oregano because I didn't have fresh. I did not add the wine we didn't have any. Used 1 cup uncooked small shell pasta. Cooked seperate and added right before serving. Overall this was an awesome soup we will be making this again.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
This is absolutely the BEST alfredo sauce in the world! Better than Olive Garden! Until my husband discovered it has Cream Cheese as an ingedient, now he wont eat it. :( Anyway, this is awesome & I make it for myself now and love it! You don't even need to make any changes to this recipe. So good!

These are awesome! You can bake them then put in a crock pot to keep warm at parties. I serve them with Motz. cheese sticks.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
These are really good! A nice change from the same old recipe. I served them with Baked Potato and Glazed Carrots. I added an extra tablespoon of brown sugar, but otherwise didn't change the ingredients. I baked at 375 for 15 min each side and broiled for 3-5 minutes at the end to chrisp up the top. Next time I will reduce the oil in half and cook on a baking sheet to get the sauce to stick better. Overall this recipe was great and we'll be adding it to our keep file

Barbeque Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
This recipe was just what we were looking for! I followed the recipe exactly, although we used Haddock instead of Halibut. The marinate leaves you wanting more and I can never make enough to satisfy everyone. This recipe has become one of our favorites.

Simple BBQ Ribs

These ribs were awesome! My husband talked about for hours after eating them! I made them exactly as the recipe says and I wouldn't change a thing! These are very easy to make after working all day and taste better than the ones I cook all day in the crock pot! They even fall apart in your plate! LOVE 'EM!

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
We tried this recipe with and without the sauce mix, both were good, but were prefered the one without the sauce. We really like the stuffing on top. We used Stove Top Stuffing, and cooked it following the package's directions, although we used chicken broth instead of water. We let it set while layering the ham and cheese on the chicken then crumbled the cooked stuffing over the top. Also you might want to pour a little left over broth into the pan with the chicken to keep it moist while cooking. (if you don't use the sauce mix)This is a very good alternative with lots of flavor & we will make this again when we are short on time and can't make the Chicken Cordon Bleu II recipe from this site. (which is absolutely the BEST)

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
This is absolutley the best pot roast we've ever had! The only things I did different was to use more hot water (3 cups) and disolved 4 beef bouillon cubes in the water before adding to the pot. Very flavorful and with the extra water there was plenty sauce to make gravy with.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
My family absolutely LOVES this recipe! Requested at least twice a month by my husband. The only changes I made were to not coat in Flour and Sprinkle lightly with Paprika. Also try this with a Honey Baked sliced Ham.
