This was delicious and even better the next day. I added a teaspoon of cumin while everything was simmering together and served it over whole wheat coucous and naan.

I used pre- made turkey meatballs and followed the sauce recipe as follows withthe addition of 2 tbsp. of ketchup. I also added chopped red/orange bell pepper, chopped onion and one rib of choped celery. I threw everything in a pot and let everything cook together for about thirty minutes. Served it over brown rice with a side salad. Great recipe!

Great recipes an so easy! I used 1 box of vanilla pudding and 1 box of banana. I also used a Marie Calendars pie crust which was perfect with the creamy filling. Fancy-But-Easy Mac N' Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
this is a great recipe! I have made this recipe several times and always get great reviews- I omit the sugar and add fresh minced garlic to the mixture (two cloves) I have also made this a few times without the havarti and used whatever cheese I had in the fridge- still tastes great and is a fave not only with the little kids but the "big: kids as well!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
Very good and easy recipe-I added minced garlic to the pot along with the other ingredients and used diced tomatoes rather than stewed. I also added the peppers about an hour before the ending cook time to keep them more crisp. The sauce was a bit runny for my taste but I added a bit more cornstarch and let the mixture cook for about thirty more miutes- turned out perfect and was accompanied with basmati rice and a side salad

Cranberry Orange Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2008
Great bread to serve during the holidays. The tartness of the berries mixed with the orange is a great combo. I followed the recipes exactly and only had to extend the baking time by about ten minutes-( my oven is old:) I sliced it while it was still warm and served it with hot cider. This will definately be holiday treat that I will make for years to come

Asparagus, Feta and Couscous Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2008
Great recipe-I used israeli couscous which is more pearl size. I also added 1/4 cup of fresh diced italian parsley and used garlic/lemon flavored feta which I found at my local supermarket. I also served this salad chilled as a side with grilled fish and broiled mango slices. This salad was very filling but was a fresh take an the same old side salad!

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
Very good recipes but a bit heavy and greasy for my taste-next time I will use half and half and cut back on the butter dollops in between layering. Otherwise this was a very decadent Easter side dish and was enjoyed by all

Three Bean Potluck Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
Very good recipe-meat definately played the starring role in this dish. I followed the recipes exactly and this was a big hit. This recipe is also very generous in it's portion size and could very well serve as a main dish. I will definately make this again and maybe add another can of beans to throw off the abundnace of meat:)

Easy Salsa Meatloaf

This was a very good meatloaf recipe, moist and flavorful-To make it a bit healthier I used ground turkey and it came out just as good if I would have used ground beef. I also added minced onion to the recipe because I like the onion taste.I also added some ketchup to the top at the end of cooking for some added flavor

Spicy Sweet Potatoes

Love this recipe-it was so easy and a nice alternative to your typical "sweet" potatoes. I also added a splash of hot sauce because I was out of chili powder-it gave the potatoes a nice kick without leaving my mouth on fire!
