Apple Raisin French Toast Strata

A few changes: 6 eggs, 2 cups whole milk, honey instead of maple syrup. Turned out firm and not runny. Very tasty.

Fast and simple. Used whole wheat flour and turned out a little tough, I'll need to adjust for that next time.

Mom's Prize Winning Raw Apple Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
Great moist cake. Tons of flavor using only cinnamon. I used 2 cups of a mixed whole wheat/white flour, used 1/2 cup less sugar in batter and pecans instead of walnuts. My cake only cooked for 33 minutes and was perfect.

Love this, great as a dip with tortilla chips. Full of flavor. I typically omit the corn as I don't have on hand.

Chicken and Corn Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2012
I made just as written, did not drain the juices from the corn or beans. Flavor was great, but very thick for a soup. We ate over tortilla chips and would have been great in a soft tortilla.

Great recipe, made a few changes: only 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup applesauce, used one cup of whole wheat flour, omitted ginger and cloves. It made 8 mini loaves in about 35 minutes.

Apple Turnovers

Made as written, and found the apples had a lot of extra sauce when done cooking. We kept that sauce and used it instead of the sugar glaze. Very good.
