The Real Mojito

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Good guidelines, but this tastes better with a few changes. I used simple syrup and added mint and lime to taste (a little extra). Also, a little more run and less soda ;)Overall, a good recipe.

We love this dressing! I had some shallots, so I used those instead of onion and it was divine!

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
A great recipe! Like other reviewers, I sauteed the onions and mushrooms, along with some garlic, in evoo, then browned the prok chops in the same pan and added it all to the soup in a baking dish. After 45 minutes, it was perfect!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
Amazing! I scaled this recipe down and made two generous single servings. I made some slight changes to the recipe by using chicken breasts with the skin and ribs and baking them with some white wine before cubing. I also blind baked the crusts for about 7-10 minutes and let them cool before adding filling. Sooo much better than the frozen kind!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
Awesome! I did things a little differently and browned the pork chops, poured apple mix over the top and baked, covered for about 35 min. but I am sure this would be just as good as it is written. A new favorite!

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
Very Good! I can't wait to make this again! I had some sundried tomato and garlic chicken sausage in the freezer, so I sliced those and used them instead of italian sausage. Divine!

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
A favorite in our house! I followed another reviewer's suggestion and use balsamic vinegar for the sauce instead of regular vinegar and I also use fresh sage and insert it in to slits along the top of the pork loin. Yum!

This recipe was good, but not my favorite, I felt like it needed bacon or something. My husband on the other hand, couldn't get enough!

Great recipe! We are not big fans of chunky tomatoes or peppers, so I cut the peppers small and added some tomato paste instead of fresh tomato and it was still delish!
