Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Honestly, I got mixed reviews on this pie. My parents did not like it much, but my husband did. It does not take like a traditional apple pie.

This was OK, but I admit I did make some changes. I lightly egged and breaded the eggplant before frying. I did not quite use all of sauce. I also added potato slices to the bottom layer.

Portobello Mushroom Sauce

This was very good. I only added some garlic and parsley while cooking the mushrooms. I served this over baked chicken and angel hair pasta. A mild sweet taste. A keeper.

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

This is great, just finely chop some pecans and roll onto sides of pumpkin roll. Also, this is definately better the next day. The longer is sits in the fridge, the better it tastes.

This was actually pretty good. My husband argued that it could be better than regular meatloaf. I will alternate this meatloaf with my regular meatloaf recipe...Thanks.

Most Spectacular Strawberry Pie

This was not very pleasing to me. I found the spices were so overwhelming you can't taste the strawberries. I would not try this again, but it was not the worst I have had.
