E-Z Chicken Tortilla Bake

Reviewed: May 8, 2009
Pretty good and fast to make. I make it a bit less fattening by making it with skim milk, reduced fat cheese, and wheat tortillas. My husband enjoyed!

these were good, but they seemed to crumbly. IDK maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Orange Jewel

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
pretty good, I didn't add the sugar per the other reviewers and I'm glad I didn't. Next time I might even buy unsweetened orange juice.

Slow Cooker Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
This was alright. With all the work you have to do, I'd rather just make this in the oven. Putting it in the oven is better anyway.

The Best Unbaked Cherry Cheesecake Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
This was really tasty cheesecake. I will make it again, the only thing I had a problem with is it didn't settle well. I think you have to leave it longer than 2-3 hours.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
This cheesecake was awesome. I never used to like cheesecake, but this one made me like it. I think if I ever make it again I will use the jam and the microwave for the chocolate as well. There seemed to be so many dishes doing it the other way. I did do the pan underneath with foil and it seemed to come out great. Although I'm not much of a decorator when it comes to deserts but it was just for me and my husband. Good recipe!

Slow Cooker Ham

I didn't enjoy this ham very much, everyone else seemed to but it tasted funny to me. Not like a ham is supposed to be, and I enjoy ham a lot.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I made this recipe tonight and it was definitely one of my husbands favorites. I used turkey sausage, which cuts out alot of the grease. We eat turkey meat alot so we can't even tell the difference. I do have to say the only thing I did different was add more sauce. I felt like 1 can wasn't enough, but we really enjoy sauce.

Easy Vegetable Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This hits the spot on a cold wet night! I add some ground turkey to it to make it a bit more hardy and it is wonderful! It also works great for my schedule. Which I don't have that much time and I get home fairly late so I don't want to keep my husband waiting too long.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This recipe is great! Although my husband isn't a big fan of chicken and dumplings he likes this. I use pre- cooked frozen diced chicken to make it even easier. I also use one can cream of chicken and one can cream of mushroom. Through in a large can of all veggies and this makes for a great meal. I also only use one can of biscuit dough and even at that it seems like alot. Quick, easy and tasty!

Slow-Cooked Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
Mmmm this is so tasty! I love chili and wanted to learn to make it, so I pulled up this easy recipe. I also added just a few things. I halved the recipe, because it is just me and my husband, although we wouldn't mind left overs! The only amount I do keep is the 2 tablespoons of chili powder, which I add to the meat. I also use ground turkey instead of ground beef and it is just as good. I add a can of black beans, and corn to the mix and also add some chili flakes. When I first started making it, it was very thick so I started adding a can of water (one of the empty cans of beans) to make it a bit more soupy and so it wouldn't become so dry in the slow cooker. My husband and I give this a recipe a thumps up. Def a keeper!

Awesome Roast Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I've made this roast beef many times. My husband and I love it! I also add carrots, potatoes, and onions that way I don't have to make anything when I get home from work. I don't even brown the meat b4 putting it in the crock pot and it still comes out great! It is easy and tasty!
