Ice Cream Lasagna

Really good and pretty easy. It's just not cheap, but that's ok for special occasions. I made it for my son's 12th birthday and he kept saying, "My mom's really good at making ice cream cakes", which was nice to hear.

Apple Crisp II

This is the best apple crisp I have made. I did leave out the water though. I can't imagine putting water in it. I think it would turn to apple sauce which is not how I want my apple crisp to be. Without the water, the topping came out nice and crispy.

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Yummy. I only had regular soy sauce. It was almost too salty where the piece of chicken was thin, but where the piece of chicken was thicker, it was not too salty at all. I also did not have the liquid smoke. A great marinade.

Ginger Chicken with Cashews

I thought this was delicious. I only gave it four stars because I changed some things. I used hoisin sauce instead of soy sauce. Hoisin sauce has soy sauce in it but tastes better than soy sauce. I used half teaspoon of ginger and half teaspoon of curry powder. I did not use sesame oil or sesame seeds because I did not have them. I served this with rice and I will definitely make it again.

Whoopie Pies VII

I thought these were good, but I added about a quarter cup of margarine and about half a cup of confectioners sugar to the filling. I did it both for flavor and to thicken it a bit. When I just followed the recipe my filling was no where near as thick as the picture. I also thought I could taste the flour a little bit and it wasn't sweet enough for me.
