Caramel Frosting IV

This is absolutely wonderful!! I cooked the brown sugar and butter longer and after I added the milk I also cooked that longer, gave it a good strong caramel flavor! Put it on banana cake -delicious! You can eat this right out of the bowl like candy! I will only use this recipe when making caramel frosting!! Thanks so much!!

Supreme Strawberry Topping

I used 2 lbs of berries, washed and stemmed and cut in pieces. I put about half of them in a pan along with 3/4 cups of sugar and about 1 tsp vanilla(I didn't measure a thing)& cooked them while mashing them(w-pot. masher) for about 4 minutes. Then I took them off stovetop and used my Braun hand blender to puree. Worked great! Then put them back on to boil a bit them cooled slightly and poured over the rest of berries and chilled. Excellent!! Handblender is key!! Thanks!!

Blue Ribbon Overnight Rolls

These are delicious!! I put it all in the bread machine on dough cycle and when done I took it out, rolled it , cut it and formed the rolls. Placed it on the baking sheet and baked.Very quick and easy!! No waiting overnight here they were perfect. Nice easy dough to work with too. Just used a little flour for the rolling. Thanks so much!!

Easy Key Lime Pie I

This is just about the same recipe as my sister-in-law gave me except hers called for 3 egg yolks. It is so quick and easy. Very creamy and rich tasting truly the best!! thanks

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Baked Omelet Roll

Awesome!!!Thanks!!! I dumped about 1/4 c minced dried onion, and about 1 c of dehydrated mushrooms and about 1 tsp pepper.Otherwise I followed exactly, but I mixed it with an electric hand mixer not in a blender. I used a glass 9 x 13 pan heavily sprayed with Pam cooking spray. I do not have a hot oven but this cooked up alot quicker than 20 minutes. I think it was done in 10 -12 minutes so keep an eye till you know. It rolled up well I thought it was going to break but I was able to roll it and put on a platter it looked great!! This is now my new Christmas brunch egg dish. Next time I will try some chopped meats along with the cheese. Such a good recipe I would give it 10 stars if I could!!!Suz :>)

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I have been looking for a recipe like this these they are AWESOME!!! I have tried tons of different recipes and different flavored pancakes but these are by far truly the best! I made them exactly as posted except I doubled them. So flavorful and light and fluffy but not too airy they have some substance to them. Thanks so much for sharing this!! I will be making these for years to come!!

Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Raisin

EXCELLENT!!I made some changes though. Read other reviews about dryness I think I solved that. First of all I used 3 very ripe bananas instead of 1 that increases moisture quite a bit. I heaped the peaunt butter I used 2 whole eggs instead of just the whites. Also I used 1 cup of the wheat flour and 1 heaping cup of the white flour. I added 1/2 tsp salt and skipped the raisins. They were cakelike but tons of PB and banana flavor, so good. And the oatmeal made them chewy. Also I cooked them at 350 for about 8-9 minutes but I have a hot oven you just gotta watch them and don't overcook. Thanks for a great recipe Gretchen!!:>)

Beer Rolls

Wow such a good recipe! I used a 12 oz bottle of honey brown lager and on the 4th cup of flour I heaped it and the dough was just perfect not to stickey or too dry. Excellent recipe, thanks!! I could eat a ton of these! I even prefer these over some of the sweeter recipes I have!!There is a recipe on this site Easy slow cooker french dip that would make a great sandwich using these rolls. thanks again for a great one!!

Texas Chicken Quesadillas

SOOOOOOO GOOD!! Thank you! I only used sharp cheddar cheese didn't have the other, and didn't measure it just sliced pieces off. Also used KC masterpiece BBQ sauce . And I basically cooked the chicken with everything else and simmered for awhile in the BBQ sauce. Hubby can't wait till I make again!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

EXCELLENT!! I used Progresso french onion soup and 3 beef boullion cubes instead of beef broth. I also used a dark beer. This was absolutely the best french dip we ever had!!! Meat was so tender and it was so good with the toasted buttered rolls!! thanks!

Broccoli and Ramen Noodle Salad

EXCELLENT!!! I have made this many times and everyone loves it! I sometimes add raisins to it and this adds a nice sweetness.You can also replace peanuts with cashews for a nice taste!Just made it for Easter it is good for covered dish events!! Thanks!

Egg Noodles

Excellent!! Decided to let my bread machine do the work. I put it on the pizza dough cycle which is a 50 minute dough cycle. When it was done I took it out, rolled it, cut it , dried it and we had it for supper!! Sooooo easy that way and so delicious!! Thanks!

Buttermilk Honey Wheat Bread

EXCELLENT!!! I make bread about 3-4 times a week and like to try new recipes. I'm so glad I found this one!! Soooo moist and tasty!! I never have buttermilk on hand so all my bread machine recipes that call for buttermilk I just use 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar in the milk and it works super!! Thanks for this recipe my picky kids even loved it!! Yum! A definite keeper!!!

Whole Wheat Honey Bread

I make bread at least 3-4 times per week and I like to try different recipes! Wow!! This is excellent!!Good for you and so tasty! Very moist with a sweetness that is perfect not too sweet! So often wheat breads are dry and boring not this one!! Even my picky kids loved it, thanks!!!

Angel's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

This is a very good recipe!! I used 4 beef boullion cubes and 4 cups hot water instead of broth I didn't have any broth. The gravy was excellent and just right not too thick or thin. I also dumped the remaining flour in with the last bit of meat as I was browning it and that is probably why I didn't need to thicken later. I added 1 tsp of parsley and 1 tsp rosemary, however that was way too much of rosemary. Next time I will omit the rosemary.Thanks for a super good recipe. I won't make any other beef stew except for this!!

Clone of a Cinnabon

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!These are extraordinary! Never had any better anywhere, thanks so much for the recipe!!! I made them the night before and hoped they would rise in fridge during night, but they didn't any suggestions? I just took them out let them raise and ate them a little later. Soooooo good~!!!

Creamy Vidalia Onion Soup

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Thank you soooo much these are spectacular!!!! I also added 1 package of Reeses peanut butter chips, 1 tsp vanilla ,1/4 cup extra flour and I heaped the peanut butter in the cup.Everyone loved these!!! A total dieter's disaster. You just can't stop eating them!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
