Stovies

This Recipe is great! Traditionally eaten on St. Andrews day. It is best not to use canned corned beef as it is high in fat, and tends to taste like tin. Instead get it fresh from a deli or butcher.

Salmon and Spinach Fettuccine

Excellent flavor. I didn't have capers so I used garlic salt and it meshed well. Other than that, I did exactly as it says and it was very good.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
Delicious. I left the brown sugar and ketchup on the bottom. Halved the amount of brown sugar. Added about a tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and a splash of liquid smoke. Amazing!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
I would give it a 4.5 because the flavor is not my FAVORITE that I've tried, but they are very tasty and have great texture. My favorite are the Soft Chocolate Chip II from this site. I didn't change a thing about the recipe.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
Delicious. I think the 1 minute boiling time is perfect if you wait for it to get to a "rapid" boil. Don't start counting right when you see bubbles, give it a little time. I used butter instead of margarine. Great recipe!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

I do not alter the recipe one bit. I am not always the best cook, but everyone who tries these cookies say they are the best chocolate chip cookies they have ever had. And I come from a family that likes to make cookies:)

Fluffy Pancakes

Didn't change a thing. Quintupled the recipe for a church function. They were delicious. Tasty enough to eat without toppings as a snack.

Jeff's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2013
I wasn't going to rate it because I had to substitute with what I had on hand, but the site won't let me just leave a review. This was delicious. I used about a cup of ketchup instead of the chili sauce. It was mild, just the way I like it. I also used balsamic vinegar instead of red wine vinegar. I drained most of the fat after sauteeing the beef as well. Everything else was the same. My nephew said they were the best sloppy joes he's ever had and wanted thirds. My kids usually get picky when they see little flecks of green, but I chopped all of the ingredients super fine with a Pampered Chef hand chopper and they had no idea they were eating green stuff. They ate it up. 5 star flavor for the way we made them.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2013
Very hearty, easy and tasty. I made the taco seasoning without chili powder from this site for the chili seasoning mix and it worked out very well though my personal preference would have called for less paprika.

Eggs and Spaghetti

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
It's hearty and tastey. I did alter. I had no onions, so I used onion powder. I used garlic salt instead of powder. I used closer to 1 teaspoon of rosemary. Very yummy.
