Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2012
I made this for a family gathering and even grandchildren raved about it. I did slice more onions and chopped more regular carrots and added a bag of frozen greenbeans. I used beef broth to make the flour and mixture with brown gravy mix to thicken the stew. Good eating raves and they finished a 7qt cooker

Thank you--Tangastar!!!! I up it to 12 servings and mixed in 1 pound of sausage along with small redskin potatoes (8) and a whole large sweet onion copped. Also put some sauce on bottom of roaster and rest on top of meatloaf. All who ate it gave me high praise. PS. it made a great late night cold sandwich--Johnflag

Mini Meat Loaves

Reviewed: May 28, 2009
Using Ground Turkey, pork sausage, and ground beef that was left over I added Extra onion(3/4 cup)and jalepeno chili peppers to half and green peppers to the rest. A combo of crackers and bread crumbs with 8 oz of tomato sauce help hold it together. To the sauce I added 3/4 cup brown sugar. Family ate them all and said do it again. Thank you Janet Hyson and All recipes for help.

Cooking for two, both of us diabetic and trying to lose weight this was a five star meal.I used two tbsp of lemon juice and three cloves of garlic mixed with the melted butter plus one tsp of evoo. Fresh ground black pepper with two small sliced red skin potatoes and half a head of cauliflower and baked for 20 minutes made this a winner.

Szechuan Beef

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
This was my first chance to use the new quality wok I got for my birthday. I marinated the beef overnight to make it real tender, did not use peanuts, but added snow peas, extra broccoli, baby corn and carrots. Family likes everything spicy so I added some hot sauce and a little garlic. Once more I recieved praise for an "allrecipe" dish.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I cook maybe 4 or 5 turkeys or breast a year on the grill or in the oven, this slow cooker recipe was GREAT. I put the 7 1/2 lb breast in brine for 6 hours then slow cooker for 5 hours and served with all the trimmings. Every one said it was great and moist. I used cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and cut up onion along with sage and lemon pepper.

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
This dish got me rave comments.I made it for eight and was told it tasted like the one from Olive Garden. I added some fresh garlic and more butter for a creamy sauce then served it over angel hair pasta. So easy and so good I will be making it more often
