A fantastic recipe. My whole family loved it! I am the master chef because of this killer apple loaf. I made some changes to the base recipe, however.
For one I didn't put any nuts in the loaf. What a horrible way to muck something great up. I did, however, put a layer of oats on the top of the mush in the bread pan before baking. This gave the finished loaf a beautiful and tasty crunchy oat topping. Also, I added nutmeg and cinnamon to the mixture. Really, how can you make an apply anything with out them? I wonder...
