Best Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2013
AMAZING! I definitely went to brownie heaven after taking a bite out of these. I made them without the frosting. It is perfect warm, paired with ice cream. My only change would be to leave it in the oven for no more than 25 minutes

Banana Muffins II

Pretty good recipe, although I did add some milk because I found that the mixture was a bit too thick. It turned out great with the added milk.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
I followed the suggestions of the other users and reduced the amount of oil used (I used 2/3 cup oil and 2 packets/cups of motts apple sauce). I used walnuts instead of pecans. Turned out great!

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
Great recipe! I actually baked mine, and it turned out delicious. And I'm sure it would taste just as good fried. It came out like buffalo wings from a typical American restaurant. Goes well with homemade french fries... yum!

I'd give this recipe a 3.5 stars. Wasn't very chewy, as I would have liked.

Beer Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Nice recipe! Didn't think it would turn out good, but it did. The bread was sweet, and tasted great the next day. I used it to make an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich the day after... tasty!

Red Velvet Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
This is such a great recipe. I followed other suggestions and used 1 cup of oil, homemade buttermilk (skim milk and vinegar), 3TB of cocoa powder, and 1 oz of food coloring. I also added more sugar than the recipe called for. I added a little twist to the frosting by reducing the amount of butter called for and replacing that with cream cheese. I did not even need to cook the frosting on the stove! This is definitely a keeper!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Great recipe. I didn't have the mini muffin tin, so I just used a cookie sheet. Still turned out great. Has a strong peanut butter taste, which I love. The peanut butter cup center is a real nice added touch.

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
To make the dough, I used regular yeast (not rapid rise), following the footnote directions. It was very simple to make. However, I dont think the recipe calls for enough salt. Also, 2.5 cups of flour was too much.... I only ended up using about 21/8 cups of flour.

Glazed Cinnamon Biscuits

This recipe was pretty good. It definitely tasted like a biscuit (and not like a cinammon roll). But it was a nice alternative.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
This recipe is phenomenal. I followed the reviews of others and added more vanilla. I didn't make any other changes. I did think the cake came out a tad too sweet, but it depends on how sweet people like their cakes. The cake was perfect with french vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and strawberries!

Crispy Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
This is a great way to make crispy baked chicken! If using a pan, it would be a good idea to turn the chicken halfway through baking, so that the chicken does not get soggy on one side. Make sure to oil the pan well, or else the chicken will stick.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
Great recipe! Very light and airy. This recipe makes a ton of pancakes, but since they are so light and airy, you don't feel bloated after eating them. I made the mix the night before and let it sit in my fridge overnight. They were fantastic the next morning.

Coconut Cream Cake I

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
The cake turned out great! The only problem was that I had a whole lot of cream left that I did not pour over the cake. Even though I did not use the coconut extract (I put some coconut flakes in the cake mix instead), the cake still had a wonderful sweet coconut flavor.
