Sour Cream Scalloped Potatoes

i didn't think these would be that good just looking at the ingredients, but they were amazing! i added a little extra cheese to the mix and sprinkled an extra layer on top w/ the f-fried onions - next time i might 1/2 the butter as it pooled up on top a bit after baking. will definately be making again as an easy BBQ-side. thanks!

Scalloped Potatoes for the BBQ

I a similar recipe all the time, but the fresh basil is a great add. To keep the foil packets moist, it helps to add an ice cube to each packet while it cooks (can help to scale back the butter).

Orange Chicken

this was very good - i added cayenne, red, & lemon pepper for a little extra kick, and put the dry mixture through the food chopper as recommended. 1/2 way through i drizzled it with extra oj and covered the pan with foil. end result was very yummy w/ white rice.

Chicken Honey Mustard Pie

i added a lil celery, red potato, and extra garlic to the mix, and i skipped the pie crust to make individual 'pies' in ramekins covered in garlic & butter biscuit dough... YUM! great recipe

really fresh & tasty but i used a food processor and it made my salsa an ugly green/brown... next time i'll still to chopping the veggies. will make again b/c it does have a great flavor to it

Hot German Potato Salad III

Yum! I halfed the amount of potatoes & bacon & kept the rest of ingredients the same...came out to a perfect amount of sauce. Only had cider vinegar on hand & liked the extra bit of sweet it gave it. First potato salad i've ever liked - great recipe!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This was great! There were only a few of us so i used a 3 lb roast but kept the rest of the ingred quantities the same. I used cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic and sub'd the water with beef broth and a few spashes of worsteshire. I followed other reviews to sear the meat (in unsalted butter), rubbing it with a garlic pepper blend, rosemary & flour first. Used the same pan to saute mushrooms for the mix... end result was so tender & delish after 4 hrs on low, 2 on high. Had lots of gravy left over for garlic mashed red potatoes (also from this site), yum!

Chicken Tikka Masala

Very yummy! I love spicy foods but did find this a little hard to handle (my ears were burning mid-way through!) I only added 1 total tsp of salt after reading reviews, and likely will halve some of the spicy spices next time I make it. Very different/fun/delish dinner though!

New Red Potato Salad

I don't eat P-Salad personally, but I made this for a BBQ and it got rave reviews. Based off other recipes I added a little celery salt & ground mustard (1/2 tsp of each) and some crumbled bacon. Based off all the feedback I'd say this is a def keeper.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

These are really good - i didn't have real garlic on hand so i added some jarred minced garlic, cheat-roasted by microwaving for 45 sec in olive oil(stolen tip from another user on this site). I always leave the skins on, they look and taste great.

Pan-Fried Steak with Marsala Sauce

Very good recipe! I added mushrooms and onion as recommended, and used a thin boneless rib eye. The steak cooked much quicker than expected (about 2 min/ea side); opposite happened to my sauce which needed a little extra time & cornstarch. In the end, the sauce turned out great - definately will make again.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

So good! Wine & balsamic you really can't go wrong. I also cooked the sauce on the side...cooked with sauted minced garlic & mushrooms & a lil bit of brown sugar. the mushrooms became a pretty burgundy color & were delicous even all by themselves. Used Malbec wine & served with the rest. YUM!
