This was great! There were only a few of us so i used a 3 lb roast but kept the rest of the ingred quantities the same. I used cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic and sub'd the water with beef broth and a few spashes of worsteshire. I followed other reviews to sear the meat (in unsalted butter), rubbing it with a garlic pepper blend, rosemary & flour first. Used the same pan to saute mushrooms for the mix... end result was so tender & delish after 4 hrs on low, 2 on high. Had lots of gravy left over for garlic mashed red potatoes (also from this site), yum!
