After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
This soup if fabulous! My husband loved it! I did add a couple extra cups of broth to it since some other reviewers said it was a little thick. This made it perfect. Also only did two onions. Three seemed like it was pushin it! Great!!

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
My family and I just love this soup! I make sure I dice the potatoes really small. I also add only about four cups of milk and four cups of chicken broth. It makes the soup not as thick. And the chicken broth adds a great flavor!

This is wonderful! My family and friends loved it. Make sure you do use good bbq sauce, not the cheap stuff! I put it over drumsticks and baked it in the oven. I served it with sticky rice and steamed veggies!

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
Way too much egg in these. When I pulled them out of the oven, all I could smell was egg, yuck! Not enough filling either and not lemony enough. Oh well....

Coconut Cream Cake I

This cake is wonderful! I used half in half instead of the sweetened condensed milk. It would be too sweet otherwise. I also doubled the whipping cream. It is great!!!

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
My family loves this recipe. It's just like my Grandmas used to be! I always double the recipe at Christmas time. There is never any left. I followed the recipe, except I add some of the cherry juice from the maraschino's. It makes the salad a beautiful pink color, instead of soo white from the cool whip. It also adds a great flavor.

Peanut Butter Balls III

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
This was a bad one for me. First off I made them with the four cups of powdered sugar. The peanut butter wouldnt mix in all the way. Way too much sugar! Thank god I had enough peanut butter to try them again. I cut the sugar to two and a half cups. It worked better. The chocolate was too thick when I dipped the balls in. It was such a chore, this whole thing and it was messy. Will never make again.

Chocolate Mint Candies Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2007
These are one of the best cookies EVER! My family and friends loved them. They are soo chewy and the melted mint on top just makes them even better. I made these for Christmas and put them in goody baskets. To give them a festive touch, I sprinkled red and green sugar on them right after the mint had melted. They set up great and looked perfect!
