Simply Traditional Lasagna

This was unbelievable! I had to make some adjustments to make due with ingredients on hand, so I used 1 lb of ground lamb instead of sausage (it gave it a wonderful savory flavor), and I also blended mild cheddar and fresh parmesean into the mozz to make it go farther. For the spices I just used a package of Italian dressing mix. We put the noodles in dry, as instructed, and we topped it with some diced pepperoni(under the final cheese layer). Had to let it bake for an extra 15 minutes, and add some extra sauce on top, but it was soooo good. My husband declared it the best he's ever had!

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Delicious and easy! I used 1/2 cup safflower oil instead of the shortening and added a dash of worcestershire to the gravy. I also used top round steak instead of cube steak because that's what I had on hand. It was very tender and my husband told me he felt like his granny had just cooked him dinner. Thanks for the great recipe, it's a keeper!

Bolognese Stuffed Bell Peppers

Absolutely delicious! I really think the pancetta made it and would say if you don't have any it's worth a trip to the market to get that flavor in the dish. I used brown rice instead of white and added some white cheddar to the top of the peppers. The only thing I would do differently next time is to make a double batch because these things go quickly! I also only used 4 peppers and it fit perfectly. I will be making them again, probably soon. A big hit with the family.
