Pound Cake III

i give it a 3 because HOLY MOLY if you really used 3 cups of sugar, i truly cant see how anyone could consume it. i used barely 2 cups sugar and its no where near what REAL POUND CAKE is supposed to taste like. however going by instructions , perfect way to actually make it come together. my advice is lower to say maybe 1 1/2 cups sugar that way you can GLAZE THE THING!

Pan De Sal I

I gave it a 4 only for the BLAND taste. I used my own yeast starter as well and it came through as far as flavor goes but even with salt, sugar, salted butter, its just sooooo BLAND, no real flavor at all! but the texture,everything else is perfect. the igredients are proportinate to what your end result is. thanx, but will definitely tweak for my own taste!~

Breadsticks with Parmesan Butter

i give it a 4 because of all thing involving yeast & rising ... THIS is the only thing that actually did rise ( yes all my previous yeasts were alive and well) and produced an OH so LIGHT bread! however the taste of the bread is ehh reallly not much of a flavor at all, thank god for spicy garlic butter!

Angie's Perfect Dinner Rolls

i gave it a 3 simply for basic simple FLAVOR! however the entire batch was heavy, very very chewy and not roll like at all. was on limited time so i know it didnt rise but once, but still it was just too heavy for rolls!

Hamburger Rice Soup

holy goodness i tell you! very very good IMO , i changed a few things based on my taste buds but honestly the base and herbs are key. AND MOST IMPORTANT the longer the simmering the better it shall be! great recipe for a normally boring beef nite!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

WOW! Just for starters I NEVER EAT LEFTOVERS...ever! But this was so good that I ate all of them..HA! I used garlic powder(lots)while melting butter, used sprinkle romano cheese, sharp cheddar, mozzarella too... did not use all the butter. AGAIN ITS AWESOME!

Man Pleasin' Jambalaya

i made by directions with the exception of the cayenne seasoning. but other then that it was something different from my normal pattern of cooking. so it was a 4 simply because it was missing something else, but it was really good! thanx for a good recipe!

Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits

OOMIGOD! These biscuits can i just say were like just the BOMB w/ what i had made for dinner , so these got a 5 because it was an awesome dinner for me and hubby and honestly i gotta say i will make these biscuits homemade rather pillsbury thank you very much! yup , bake em they are that good. make sure to make them thick! definitely double the cheese, add a little garlic too! reminded me of bisquiks garlic cheddar bicuits tbH!

Chicken Tortilla Soup IV

I honestly was smelling it as it was cooking and i just couldnt wait to dive into it, I thought it was delicious, BF says it was too acidy but whatever , i thought iwas great... and i fried flour tortilla in oil... they was soo good my lil boys were like fench fies! woohoo! thanks for a good dinner!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

gave it a 4 only because i didnt love them, the other 3 LOVED them. me thou, just oil and eggs... seems like a better cookie could be made from a heavy thick cake mix but awesome 2nd go around. i just need to look further for my perfect cookie. thanx

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

its a good recipe... however my dough experiences arent all that great, but even thou my issues w/ the "rising part", it still lacked flavor. thank goodness i didnt bake it all at once, i was able to adjust the second roll w/ some extras that IMO added the extra umph it needed... but hey you helped me w/ the base of it... thank you very mucho! i added a photo of my 2nd roll w/ toffee bit on top! YUMMMMMM

Creamy Frosting

my 4 stars is only because i added a tad too much butter by accident, so it never acually "came together", but OMG it was so delicious that my family ate it anyway... i put it in a jar in the fridge and frosted my sugar cake cookies w/ it... sooo YUMM. thanx for a great recipe!
