No Fail Pound Cake

I made this cake to top with strawberries for strawberry shortcake. I did not have lemon extract so I used tsp of vanilla but that was the only change I made. We ate some the first day after it cooled and it was good but not really and dense as regular pound cake. The next day it had the perfect pound cake texture though! If possible make this a day ahead, it makes a big difference to let it sit a day. It was still great the same day for strawberry shortcake though. It did seem a tad sweet is my only complaint, I may cut the sugar in half next time. I think this recipe would be amazing if made with a lemon cake mix too.

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Very good! I do use way less ranch dressing and whatever cheeses I have on hand. I just use enough dressing to moisten everything and I also use a few tbs of olive oil in place of the butter. I just cannot get over the thought of using a whole bottle of unhealthy dressing on top of a lot of butter. My family loves it with the changes I made.

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Love these! I make them all the time adding a cup of mini semi sweet chocolate chips. Duncan hines mix makes a lighter more cake like muffin and puffs up nicer.

Luscious Lemon Poke Cake

This is one of my all time fave cakes! I always get rave reviews when I make it too. I do use a lemon cake instead of white and bake it in a 9x13 just frosting the top instead of doing layers.

Potato Bread II

Really good, perfect recipe! I use the dough cycle on my bread machine and make rolls with this at least once a week and they always turn out perfect. I used to use the sweet yeast dinner roll recipe from this site that had more ingredents but this one is just as good with no need for butter or egg in the recipe. These also taste just as good the next day. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Whole Wheat Bread III

This is the best whole wheat bread recipe that I've ever tried. I made the dough in my bread machine and then made rolls with it. Also did not have corn meal and used oats instead. Very good.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

These are amazing! I did use vanilla yogurt and milk choc chips because that is what I had. Also I just used two bananas and did not measure them. Turned out perfect and my kids and I loved them.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

The first time I made these I used half reg flour and half bread flour and they turned out a little heavy and dense. The second time I used all bread flour and they were amazing! They rose beautifuly and were light and fluffy. Just like rolls from a resturant. Amazing. My husband begs me to make these all the time now.

Tater Tot Casserole I

4.5 stars! My family loved this. I did add two extra eggs and used turkey sausage but left everything else the same. My husband said it would be five stars with mushrooms:). Very good.

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

My family really likes this combo. I omit the butter and water and just use olive oil and use frozen green beans. I also make it in one big pan in my oven and add lots of fresh garlic.

Four Fruit Pie

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

We love this recipe! I always use strawberries, kiwi and one apple plus whatever other fruit I have on hand. I just add fruit preserves and no extra sugar. It's sweet enough that way. Everyone loves this when I make it!

Pecan-Oatmeal Pancakes

I have made this recipe several times and my kids and I love it. I normally add some vanilla and cinnamon. I've also made it with whole wheat flour and it works well too. These pancakes are amazing with the sauteed apples recipe on this site also.

Apple Cinnamon Muffins

These muffins are outstanding! My kids and I agreed that these deserve 5 stars. I did not have a splenda so I did half brown and half white sugar and added a dash of apple pie spice but followed the rest of the recipe. This made 18 muffins for me and the topping was the perfect amount. Thanks for such a great recipe.
