Spinach Lasagna III

Have made this lasagna twice now, its very tasty and was fairly well received. I used portabellos and my daughter who generally shields herself whenever she sees a mushroom even enjoyed it. When I want a vegetarian lasgana I'll certainly choose this one again.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Very good, but I agree with the other reviewers who said to increase the sauce. It would not be enough to do that many pieces of chicken. Made it exactely as written except I had fresh ginger on hand. Definitely use foil for easy clean up. Thanks!

Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies

Definitely very delicious, but not even close to being done at 20 minutes. I baked an extra 5 or so and I think it could have used a little more then that. They are really sweet with the melted butterscotch chips but so so good!

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Very tasty falafel and cucumber sauce. My 5 year old really enjoyed them too. I followed everything in the recipe, but as per the instructions, I just added bread crumbs until it was the right consistency so definitely didn't need a full cup. The one change was the cooking method, didn't deep fry them, I baked at 375 as some other reviewers suggested and they turned out lovely.

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Oh this is such a yummy way to prepare chicken. I followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect, crispy on the outside and very tender inside. For this recipe I cut my chicken breast halves into 2 or 3 smaller lenghwise sections and it turned out great! Thanks, I will absolutely make this again!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Very yummy pulled pork. Except I cooked it on low for 12 hours, the extra few hours really made a difference when I did a taste test :) I did add a couple of drops of liquid smoke and some sea salt. Everybody loved it on rolls topped with coleslaw. For sure will be making this again.

Baked Flounder

I made this for dinner for my 5 year old daughter and I last night. Follwed the recipe exactly except scaled the ingredients down for just the 2 of us. It turned out really good and we both enjoyed it. The fish had a lovely flavour and there were some nice juices which we ladled over rice. Very tasty and I would definitely make it again.

Steak House Au Gratin Potatoes

These were really great! The garlic added an wonderful flavour and they were just so creamy and tasty. Best of all just throw everything in the pan and bake, couldn't be easier. They did take additional time to bake, and I did slice rather then cube them so I suspect they would take even longer if you used large cubes. Will absolutely be making these again. Thanks!

Garlic Spaghetti

This was so easy and very tasty. Such a great weeknight supper when you're in the mood for something fast. Sadly my 5 year old didn't like it, I think the sharp garlic taste was just a little too strong for her taste. I'll keep trying though! Thanks!

Great Green Salad

I really enjoyed this salad. Made it exactly as is, except didn't add the almonds. I really love butter lettuce with avacado's so that would certainly be my lettuce preference for this salad. I thought the dressing was perfect and even my 5 year old enjoyed it.

This frittata turned out beautifuly, it is the perfect cooking method! That being said I'll switch up the ingredients and seasonings to suit our tastes, and what we have in the house, but will definitely follow this method of preparation. Thanks!

Very nice mix of flavours. I didn't have fresh ginger so I substituted about 1/2 tsp of ground instead. There were no leftovers which is always a good sign. I'm sure I'll make this again.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Exellent roast and it smelled wonderful while it was cooking. I thought the flavour was perfect, definitely not too salty - I used sea salt as opposed to kosher salt and toned down the cayenne a little bit because of the little one and everyone loved it. The cooking time was pretty much bang on, but I don't cook anything like that without a meat thermometer so I took it out when it read about 145 and let it sit - very tender and cooked perfectly. Thanks for the great recipe!

Spaghetti Squash Saute

I thought this was a great way to cook spaghetti squash and it tasted really good especialy with a nice sprinkle of freshly grated parmesan cheese. But it was a bit too heavy on the butter, so next time I think I would maybe substitute olive oil as some other reviewers have suggested.
