B and L's Strawberry Smoothie

Great recipe! I like this because you can slightly adjust depending on your taste. I prefer a thicker smoothie, so I just added a little extra yogurt. Most awesome recipe =)

Yummy Quiche

I am giving this 5 Star on taste, but a 4 star on proportion. You most definitely can't use a regular pie crust and fit all the ingredients in. But since that's all I had, I just changed the 8 servings to 6. I made this twice the first one for a potluck at work (gone within minutes) and the 2nd time at home for the family. The first time, I still had about a 1/2 cup or so of leftover mixture. But other than that, the flavor of it was wonderful. Thank you for a great recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Great recipe! Made as written for the most part. I did add a little onion and celery, but nothing else (first time trying this, so I didn't want 2 over do it). Husband absolutely loved it. The only thing that I did do differently was add the biscuits about 90 minutes beforehand per other reviews. Thank you for the great recipe...

One-For-All Marinated Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
I couldn't make this recipe as is, I had to modify so I could use what I had on hand. I had some oranges that were pretty ripe and didn't want 2 waste them and that is why I chose this. The only thing I did different is I just squeeze the juice out of the oranges and used that, and I used vegetable oil instead. I also added a smidge of worcheshire because I like how it tastes on beef =). Awesome recipe, definitely keeping this one around

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
Made this last night and everyone loved it. I ended up doing a half recipe (didn't realize I was short on sugar) but I did add more cocoa then half. It calls for 3/4 of a cup but I added a half cup of cocoa due to others saying it made a difference. It was so moist and had such a rich flavor. I also wanted to mention how EASY it is. It's really hard to mess this one up, and that's why I like it too.

Made this as is except I used celery also (had to use it up). The only thing I did slightly differently is add about 3/4 lb of bacon. Great and delicious recipe!

Banana Nut Bread III

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
I made this recipe twice, once as stated the 2nd with a few adjustments. As stated, it wasn't bad whatsoever but kind of dry. Per what other uses said, I increased the banana to about 3 large bananas (almost 2 cups) and added a little cinnamon to it 1/4 tsp. This time it came out WONDERFUL. Also, per another user, I did cover the bread about 20 minutes before it was done.

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
Great recipe. I used a 5 pound chicken and cooked sligtly longer (I believe it was 2 and a half hours). I covered most of the time per suggestion of another user, and then let it brown. I used the leftovers and shredded it up to make chicken tacos the next night. It really added a nice flavor without being too overpowering. I would definitely use this one again.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this. It's simple and still has flavor...The only thing I did different was mix the ricotta into the sauce itself. I just prefer it that way

Bundle of Veggies

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
Tried this last night...Per other reviews, I did decrease the amount of oil to about a 1/2 tablespoon but I kept the butter at 1 for the flavor. I used what I had on hand, a red onion, a package of sliced mushrooms, and a green pepper. I also added a little fresh garlic before throwing it on the grill just because I love garlic. Vegetables were flavorful and boyfriend said they were some of the best ever. Thank you

Feta Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Breasts

Just got done making this. I made this as written for me and my SO and he absolutely LOVED it. He usually says well I like it but it needs this he actually said I can't say anything. Now I know it sounds weird but I made it with some creamed corn and the sweet and salty thing was great. I gave it a 5 because the ONE thing I did change only because I bought the wrong oil, was i used vegetable oil. I can only imagine how good it is with olive oil.

Wonderful Meatloaf

This is a good recipe...I used this to get rid of some stuff I had in the fridge and cupboard. The thing I did though was added half a cup of italian bread crumbs, some salt and pepper to taste, some mrs. dash garlic and herb, large green pepper, and some fresh tomato. I also used about a clove of garlic...I love how moist it comes out with the rice!

This was an awesome recipe! I'm starting to broaden my horizons in the cooking are and I have to admit, I have an affliction for spicy food. I used spicy italian sausage instead because I didn't have the time to run to the gourmet market, but I did find some file powder. I think this is a keeper!
