Savory Chicken Breasts

LOVED IT !!!!!!! I took suggestions of several others- sharp Cheddar cheese, garlic salt, crushed whole wheat Ritz crackers, and mushroom soup. Excellent!! The only thing I will change will be garlic powder instead of garlic salt it was a tad bit too salty.

Little Meat Loaves

An excellent comfort food!!!!!!!! I've been making this recipe for 3 years now and have experimented with different combos of meats- it is close to perfect, next time I will try one and a half pounds of ground sirloin and 1/2 pound sweet sausage- the sausage I find from our grocery is just a bit too seasoned for my family's taste. I love the brown sugar mixture just the way it is. It definitely encourages my kids to eat meat(picky preschoolers are hard to please).

Party Italian Wedding Soup

It was awesome!!! Tastes even better than some that I've had out at "Italian" restaurants!!! A couple of minor modifications that I made were to make my own stock with chicken thighs, garlic, celery, & onion first, then cut up the chicken & add to pot before serving. I also shredded the carrots. I tried to make the meatballs low-fat by using ground turkey instead, but I think that there is no substitute for beef/pork meatballs.

Pork Chops with Apple Curry Sauce

I think that the amount of curry called for in this recipe was WAY too MUCH !!! I even lessened it as others had suggested; however it was very overpowering- to the point where I had to open the windows and doors to my house because even the smell of it cooking was extremely strong. If you love curry this is the recipe for you.
